Description
A new twist on the "love doll" genre. Tempted by an internet advertisement for a "Necoco" doll series, Eiji orders one on a whim, imagining a moe-tastic hadaka-apron-wearing girl to show up on his doorstep. Instead he gets a scrappy looking boy, and to make matters worse... he's an aggressive, tough-talking little brat.
Also contains a oneshot called Good Awakening to The Master.

I totally agree with the person before me. It's like the shounen-ai version of Absolute Boyfriend XP. Personally, I like this better. Mishima Kazuhiko is like my favourite author and I love how the way she makes it so unobvious who's the seme and who's the uke. That's what keeps me reading though o.0".
It's rather okie.. i thought the concept's rather like the non-yaoi version of absolute boyfriend though (and i think absolute boyfriend's better). I was actually hoping for something more concrete to happen between the teacher and the student (instead of the teacher and the machine cat)... but it didn't happen that way... sigh... but generally it's rather predictable (esp if you've read absolute boyfriend)...

Necoco is definitely not the kitty uke you'd expect, and their relationship is so funny. The first oneshot is also cute and very sweet.
I'm not a huge fan of ears/tail manga, but this one is awesome. Great storyline about a "love neko" and the poor guy who accidentally gets it. It's got a great twist and the catboi isn't exactly what you expect. Mishima Kazuhiko is one of my favorites. She doesn't do the normal seme/uke relationship, which is always fun to read. The art is great as well. Read it. You'll like it.
Finally! Some kitty character that I can actually like. This is such an ADORABLE manga. Neco is just so cute and evil ^^ that you just couldn't help but fall for him. Mishima Kazuhiko is such a great mangaka. Her works can never let you down. It's always full of great humor and awesome characters.
