... once I got over Bia's annoying personality and she stopped acting like a loudmouth bratty kid. (No, it's not all about YOU so get over it.) The plot is completely signposted from the beginning, the villain, the hero, which princes were going to be obsessed with her

(Answer; all of them!)
and who she would end up with. It got a lot more interesting around volume 13 and the plot became a little more complicated because Bia began thinking about other people and Mu Yeoung showed more sides to his personality. To be honest, he was by far the most complex and pitiable character.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
His final words brought a tear to my eye because no matter how reprehensible his actions are (yes I'm referring to chapter 77), you've got to admit, his life sucked from the moment he lost his family, his country and freedom and became the 'hostage prince'. So its not suprising he became cold, calculating and amoral. And I'm not excusing him.

I think HMR may have dropped the ball a little because she made him more sympathetic at first and had to backtrack to sway the reader's favour back to Yoo Baek. Mu Yeoung's actions were over the top and slightly out of character from chapter 77 onwards; instead of being complex he became a caricature.

Probably the best and most mature of HMR's cliched manwhas but it does press all the right buttons and keeps you rivetted towards the end. The only nitpick I had with the ending was that it was too neat and in no way acknowledged the suffering of those who had died.

i don't know why some people think that this manhwa is no good or not satisfying. But for me i think this is really great! compared to other HMR's work, i think this manga is the best. It has a lot of bishies and the scenes weren't boring at all. I had really fun while reading this manhwa and Bia is the best protagonist in all HMR's work. Maybe sometimes she's annoying but that makes the manhwa good, well obviously the tittle is Crazy Girl Shin Bia of course she's bound to be crazy! LOL and about the ending i like it! so what if she didn't have a child its still good. and it doesn't leave you hanging like her other works..! so overall im satisfied! * a real good read smile)

Although I've only read a few of Hwang Mi Ri's manhwas, I feel that this one was the only one that didn't eventually blur into one big general plotline with the rest of her manhwas. It definitely had comedy going for it and as the story went along it got easier to get hooked. Also, pretty traditional clothing smile pro for anything.

That said, I will admit I took something like a 6 month break from this manga near the start because the plot just wasn't really moving and I restarted reading around chapter 65 - by then the plot had by far improved.

Another flaw was the lack of characters with depth. The guys all seemed to be waaaaaaaaaay too obsessed with Bia (sometimes borderline psychotically so) who in turn seemed to go through phases of being strong character, then weak character then strong character and then ends up in between the two?

Spoiler (highlight to view)
For example, Mu-yeong is probably the best example of this. Fine, he was a womanizer and then falls deeply in love with Bia - they spend time together, he falls deeper in love, he goes off giving his countries secrets to her. Cute (well kind of). Then he goes and captures her and tortures her and makes her watch her love's nerves get chopped...O_O

When you look at the big picture, all you can wonder is how none of the characters just decided they had enough of her childish, bratty and rude behavior and just executed her. xD

The ending was also very 'meh'. It felt rushed and spontaneous considering the rest of the plot. But well, it was a dramatic ending I suppose.

But overall, it was likeable smile

for me the story is absolutly beautiful... how bia is strong well sometimes. i admit there was a bit too much drama but it was truely an amazing story i think this is the best story yet i read from this author like others say this author tends to rush the ending but this one makes it satisfying
Spoiler (highlight to view)
i cried when prince mu young died was truely sad and when the maid died with him(even though i am not a big fan of the mu young but i still felt sad how he died in the end

The action and development are slow and it takes too much time to end, I can't see how the author will achieve it well?
But it's an original and unusual story !! It keeps us under stress most of the time. I crave for seeing the end. I can't wait for the suite.

Can't someone just hit Bia really hard and wake her brain up? Why does she always, always, always act before she thinks? Why does she always has to be so angry? Can't she stop for a few seconds, think in what time and place she's in and act from there? But I guess she's more stupid than at first glance...

Shin Bia has to be one of the most annoying "heroines" I have ever read in a manhwa, and there are quite a few annoying ones in the manhwa world. She's thrown into another world, but she's hostile to everyone. She's completely ungrateful, ill mannered, and often seems downright stupid. She doesn't think before acting, she doesn't listen to people who are trying to help her, and she constantly talks about strength, but it stupid about what it means to be strong. I can usually warm up to characters that come off rough at the beginning like she does, but her behavior is so atrocious and without justification that is just irritates me. All the other characters are more interesting, but she's like a fly in the ointment. It's really hard to get past what a stupid, arrogant, ungrateful little b*tch she is and enjoy any other elements of the story. She sucks as a character, and it ruined the story for me.

it's an okay manhwa for me. Although it is said that Bia is strong, she was kidnapped, lost in fist fights, etc so it makes me questioned whether she is as strong as she appears to be in the very first few chapters. I get annoyed when she is trying to escape when she is in fact, is in love with the prince and to-be husband. Why would she run away? She doesn't really expressed why except that she has to run away. I know she wants to go back to the present time but she doesn't seem to try to find a way to do it but rather just trying to escape and provoke the person that she likes. The conflict starts to disappear after several chapters and takes a path of "damsel in distress" kind of story. It feels like a historical romance in the end and I feel rather disappointed with this HWR's works.

after ch38,
I changed my opinions. This woman is crazy as the title says. I feel like screaming: "Just go back to your real world and leave this people at peace." Even an idiot has a limit. I think the author just wants to keep the story going on so she can get more money. My opinion. The story just went straight down the drain for me. I just want to know the ending so people who haven't started reading this, don't start! I already warned you

after chapter 60+, the pace started to pick up again. Hopefully the ending won't be crappy. But I still don't like the use of damsel in distress in this story. Why didn't HMR make Bia as a stubborn but weak girl. That will make the story better without her saying she "used" to be strong (before time and place warp suck all her power)

This manga is listed as having a "Strong Female Lead", well, she is anything but. The manga continues to tell the reader that she is strong, but how can she be when every passing street punk renders her a helpless damsel in distress? It is so frustrating. People who enjoy flawless bishonens will likely enjoy this manga more than I. (I have read up thru vol 7)
