Description
Based on the Chinese novel Shui Hu Zhuan, this series is about the trials and tribulations of a band of outlaws during the mid Song dynasty.
It is 1112, China is in turmoil with the present Song dynasty's government and its inability to control its own provincial officials from preying on their people. Wow oh woW , this series remind me Suikoden series, i hope the Hero and the story not like the latest suikoden series,suikoden tiekries ,the character is very baadd....not cool at all and they speak too fast ,lol

This manga isn't bad at all, and got off to a good start.
Akaboshi differs from other Shounen mangas that I have read lately. First, the setting is in China. Second, the main character has a much different personality than expected and finally, the actions and the flow of the story is well-written.
Hope that this series will perform better in Weekly Shonen Jump as it progress with each chapter.

have seen the author other work which is like 1 or 3 volumes(max).
i hope Amano youichi will make this serie have atleast above 15 volumes.
because 108 heroes in few volumes is nearly impossible unless he rushes the story with lack of character development.
i'm very interested in this serie.
the main character is not the generic fire user with ADD.
