I wouldn't call most of the pranks cruel, eating hot pepper and dressing up stupid are the most frequent. well maybe the time he gets lead on a bit by the cousin of his step-sister. The guy liking his step-sister works to make sure he doesn't get angry at her.

It's ends with things a bit up in the air but it's amusing throughout. There's only one moment that gets a bit dramatic and it's not bad. I think they could have done slightly easier job of say the girl explaining herself and the guy of thinking about things more and explaining himself but things escalated pretty fast(and being hit does send the mind reeling). The fight between them is a bit rough so it might not come off as funny to some. It didn't affect my opinion of the work overall though, and it ties up one loose end just fine. Though they had already done it and it got resolved pretty fast before, there was no callback to it. It might explain why she got angrier this time, along with the classmates teasing but as I mentioned, no one acted like it had happened before.

The humour has great timing and the strip has great expressions and reaction shots, really funny faces, and those two things really make this manga. An easy recommend if the synopsis sounds interesting, and I'll say it's worth reading for the humour anyway. But the resolution is left upto the reader to interpret(It's very easy on the people that think they/'ll like each other).

So far from what's scanlated it's pretty funny, and some of the stuff I would say is very normal comedy you see in everyday life, though for the most part the sister is one twisted individual in a funny 4-koma kind of way
