I really hate this manga

It invokes a lot of negative emotions. It also forgets to mention the fourth character in the manga called Sho and he is basically the character everybody picks on in the manga. The manga is reverse equality and reverse feminism. It basically supports that you shouldn't respect women or other peoples rights by showing that they will only mistreat you and take advantage of you. If your a person that is against women rights and people dressing the way they want to dress this manga will support those beliefs.

Amazing art, but the story isn't for me.

I really like this manga's art, not even the "kinky" side ( it was still nice though ), but mostly the girls's face. What i really enjoy to see is pretty and girly faces, and this manga was full of it, so I was happy to find this manga, the story seemed to be interesting and going over modern questions about gender and identity, so why not. I started to read, characters were interesting, girls were pretty, but then it got pretty fucked up from my point of view and and became harder and harder to read. I managed to read around 40 chapters ( the art really kept me from dropping my reading ) but I couldn't anymore so I stopped and then I'm writing this half-assed review. Honestly this manga is good but just not for me, I won't say that it's too "mature", just too complicated, and I don't like that in romance mangas.

My favorite manga genre is romance but i can't stand when its too disturbing and dark like in this story, I like simple and cute ones, so if you're like me maybe this manga won't be for you. If you're looking for gorgeous art and a complicated romance story with a lot of twists, perversity, traumas and that you can stand when the romance isn't light-hearted, this might become one of your favorite mangas.

The characters and the plot is very interesting. I really like the premise, and it's pretty thought invoking too. It does seem painful to read because from an outsiders point of view I just feel like all this drama would be unnecessary if they just talked honestly, but obviously it's "complicated" and dramatic, plus it's not going in the main pairings favour right now and I just want to read the part where it goes uphill. Normally I hate stories that are just constantly depressing, but considering how I read it all and couldn't stop, either it wasn't actually constantly depressing or it was interesting enough that it didn't seem overbearing. Quite an entertaining and well-drawn read.

Trivial waste of time

I like the sincerity of some characters, but the hypocrisy of some, especially of the one which seems to be the protagonist, is a turn off. It's a travested Shoujo manga with the usual lame crying, thinking the world revolves around herself, and believing only and whatever is convenient regardless of reality.

Trivial and a waste of time.

Hot Mess

This manga is a hot mess tbh. The main character all have their issues. But the main character is really likeable and it's nice to see her breaking through this put on outward appearance The secondary mains are really big messes. Espeially Mikako who i find disturbed tbh. They both project their issues onto to Kaito but her obsession is unhealthy. As this story goes along there is a downturn in growth. They seem to be getting more disturbed.

Realistic

Himegoto's principle cast are immature, self-indulgent, and dependent..... making them believable and convincingly real. The mature and grounded storytelling of this series almost seems akin to those handled by western novels than those of manga, and serve as an example for the use of the medium to ask insightful questions about sexuality and identity.

Reading this manga was not unenjoyable by any means; the plot is well-paced with many moving parts to breathe life into its fantastic characterization. However, its resolve to simulate life, rather than to just provide a thrilling ride, could possibly work against it. As a story revolving around the life of multiple unstable characters with very few (if any) major support characters, it fails to provide "breathing room", saturating the story with tension-- not entirely a bad thing, but could potentially put off would-be readers.

If you are looking for a story that provides thoughtful discussion of topics such as sexuality, identity, and the frailty of youth, this series is definitely for you. Be warned, though; this is not a particularly "easy" manga to read. Expect lots of tension with little to no relief.

I really like this manga, I like the tomboy and the crossdressing guy. but i do not like the black haired girl. all i could think about when i see her is Slut. i hate the fact that the crossdressing guy like her soooo much, i mean can;t you like the tomboy girl ;-; i really ship them but both of them get swept away by the 'slut' i hate it. i just hope none of them ends up with her.

But i really like the plot of this manga. i havent seen/read any manga with this kind of plot. i really hope that the tomboy-san (idk her name) and Crossdressing-kun end up together like if they didnt i'd rate this lower than whatever i have rated this

It is interesting, but in the characters somewhat piss me off. For instance the Mikako is just a plain old slut that is clinging on to this kind of innocence that she used to have and is projecting it on to Yuki. The whole premise is basically projecting what you want to be on another person and trying to be that, i.e. Kaito. For the majority of the manga so far, it has been very roundabout with this trio trying to get their true feelings out, but can't because they are to afraid to do so. A little personal opinion of mine is that Mikako is a manipulative bitch and drives me fucking crazy how she just manipulates people like Sho, who is obviously heart broken. Jesus.

Pretty but Twisted

I'm torn. Interesting (with lovely art), I will give it that. It's not something that's done too often and when it is, it usually is not as convoluted as this.

While I appreciate the idea and variety of characters with real issues, certain aspects of the story are unnecessarily off-kilter (in a scary way). To some, that might spice things up with elemental dramatics, but to me it's more disturbing than dynamic. Half of the characters in this manga are treading a fine line of insanity. And what I'm getting at is, perhaps realistically, each other is not enough to get them the help they need. They all have very troubling issues that seem to have arisen from ordinary experiences - only taking a turn for the very worst in their transition to adulthood.

I get it. This story is all about ego, identity, and acceptance of self. It's showing the most extreme cases and problems of people. But ask yourself if that's what you want. Because a part of me is here for the story and a shrinking part for what the larger concept entails (which is what I think would be nice to see more of).

Very Interesting

The authors delivers perfectly the different issues people faces in terms of sexuality and gender roles. I kinda like how the author presents different people with different cases in coming to terms with their inner ego. Personally I know to my self that I'm a girl inside and out but sometimes I just want to be different and try to fulfill my inner urges and touch the same sex.
The story is original and I can really relate to the situations each characters face.
