Amazing manga. Despite the ending, the whole story is such a touching and cute one =D It would be great if Vivi could be a tad bit more possessive. Wonderful story, it's definitely a MUST READ!!

I just loved this manga. As sad as it was in some parts and funny as it was in others, as a whole it had a great... personality. Generally I wouldn't use that term to apply to a manga, but it just seemed that way to me. It was simply a beautiful start and a beautiful end, with all the emotional ups and downs in between. One of the few manga I would dare to call one of my favorites, and one of the few manga I would read over and over again.

btw sorry if i have any spoiler in this bottom...

this was a nice read... not that great as i was expecting with the summary and all things i hated were when Hana found out she loved Vivi or Bibi what ever the name is she kept hiding it and not revealing it, and even when he asked her about him getting married and stuff and she goes to stop it whats the point in creating drama and why not say she loves him... and then getting back after the 3 year separation she starts the same thing about hiding her feelings rather then confronting him and setting down and having a chat!

this all whats the most i hate about this manga..

what i liked about it

hana dies at the end which is so not fantasy, like in many manag like these i read the girl becomes a demon or something to live forever and ever with the lover but in this Hana dies after the age of 90ish leaving Bibi/Vivi alone but at least have 2 kids thats nice

Masterpiece

What I enjoyed most about this manga was how the author constantly used a comparison between humans and flowers. Its symbolic representation was portrayed so well by the heroine, whom was also a very fun character. The ending was realistic, it opened our minds to realize that the manga could not end in a happer manner, as Vivi always quotes "humans are weak, just like how flowers wilt easily". Hence, why I'd claim this as a masterpiece.

I'm speechless when I finished this. Really, Hana to Akuma so beautiful story with a lovely art. Simple but not two-bit, and... and the ending is really beautiful without any compelling. You must read this by yourself, very recommended for shoujo lover!

Hana to Akuma is a manga that's hard to hate. While it has its flaws, it's just so darned cute. If you're a shoujo fan, definitely give this a try.
The art's sugary and cutesy but appropriate for the genre. The characters are decent, and I enjoy the way that they interact (minor gripe: Hana's kind of a traditional shoujo heroine, and Vivi doesn't deviate too much from the traditional shoujo hero). The plot drags. Honestly, I think I would've been equally satisfied with half as many chapters. But the ending is pretty of ballsy for shoujo, and I really appreciate that. Overall, Hana to Akuma is very sweet, and as long as you recognize that it's shoujo (and don't expect anything beyond normal shoujo stuff), I think it's pretty enjoyable.

It's so dang cute I could just die! I felt a great deal of love throughout the whole thing. The ending however was unexpected for me... Let's just say I'll never get over this manga; not with an ending like that.

I loved this story. The characters were lovable, and the plot was sweet without it being to cliché.
The ending, I loved because it was sweet, sad, and realistic at the same time. VERY HIGH RECCOMMENDATION to read. ^~^

The manga is very touching, this is one of the earliest mangas I've read online. Its just so awesome, the art suits the story. I must admit the ending made me cry, but it was reasonable right? Its not like a human could live happily forever, reality check lol. But I'm glad the children are demons AND they can touch flowers, I'm glad Hana left something for Vivi. Very sweet and touching. I dont understand why people dislike Hana, sure she is pure and very naive, but arent 14 year olds like that? She was raised that way. Innocent and sweet, Im around her age and I am similar to her? I dont know much but Im not stupid. Im book smart, just not street smart lol. (Im not "hip" apparently :I) And maybe she has a baby face, but she's 14, not all 14 year olds are old and mature..my friend is adorable and small, wth a baby face too. A couple of them are actually. Sorry for the long rant, just saying you know. Very sweet story, like a fairy tale, but much better. I do admit that I wanted more but meh.
BTW: I've read many shoujos, and this is one of the best. Some of the shoujos are kinda crappy...some are likeable, some are okay, but a few of them are actually really good.
