I found the female lead in this manga extremely irritating - so much so that I couldn't get through the two volumes. The male lead was a classic and handsome prince charming, but I found the female lead to be cold, overly bossy, uncharacteristically pragmatic, stiff, and a bit of a square. The narrative was a little unrealistic for me, because it felt like Mr. Everything chasing after a matronly, neurotic female hen. Clearly I'm in the minority on this particular manga. . . to each their own?

i'm so glad..the story is really good and the same time entertaining.. but i would like if it was much longer (not the word i expect comin out from my mouth).. i'm lookin forward to others manhua..

Everyone says that the romance turned too quickly...but after what happened in chapter 4 I can see reason. I like the main heroine, and the guy isn't TOO bad...but still a spoiled child in my opinion. The art is about a 6.5

Loved it. It was very amusing and I found the postscript and ending two extremely funny. The only thing that it's missing is a few more volumes. Also, the way the female lead fell in love was like firing from a gun. One second it wasn't there, then it was. Not very good.

Loved it! it was funny, romantic and i LOVE Dan! she's such a strong woman. The only flaw this manga had was that it's too short. Honestly, the mangaka coulda extended it to about 10 volumes.. So much potential!! I hate that it finished so quickly.... shoulda made it longer!
Overall it's simple interesting and enjoyable

This is a really fun story! Only thing is that it should have been longer and the characters should have been more developed and how they fell in love should have been more gradual and natural. It might have just been the author's contract with the publishing company or something, so can't blame her.

This series was simply amazing!!!!! The story was hilarious.The art work was absolutely fabulous. The Elian is a total hottie. And Dan. She is phenomenal. She is a strong, beautiful heroine with an explosive personality. She is not afraid of speaking her mind and taking care of business. She can handle her own. I love that about her.

Loved the art, the Story, Relationships were funny specially at the end, and loved how Dan takes revenge on people thats just SUPERB! i mean she's weak in health with the Sun but with people is a strong Heroin just my kind of female leads i mean i hate weak girls that only need the guy to be there for them... but for her to be strong was cuz her sister was married to a rich man and she could do anything and no 1 could stop her.

I just sooo wish there was more to this story 2 volumes just dont cut it i mean she had a brother i wish more was brought forth more story and just Loved Prince Elian how he cared for her SOOOO SWEET!

and plus the story was 1 of my favorites were both main leads hate each other but then slowly fall for one another!

Though Elian slowly fell in love with Dan as the story progressed but Dan's part wasn't shown.. it was as though she only accepted his feelings just cuz how he cleared the misunderstanding of her father and helped her find her father and she then found out the reason why her father never came back to pick her up 16 years ago!

u can read this 10x or even 100x and still not get bored its that good!

A tough heroine in a shoujo manga? Finally! This manga kept me laughing throughout, the epilogue finished it off nicely. My only complaint would be that their relationship seemed to go from Dan disliking him to being in love. It seemed almost as though she felt sorry for him and decided to return his feelings; the transition between hating and loving the Prince wasn't smooth. Overall it was nice to see a manga heroine shouting a few home truths to a rich, spoiled Prince and not vaguely getting annoyed but do nothing but complain for a change. However, other than that it lacked any real stand out plot or characters. A good read, but nothing to shout and jump about.
By the way, does anyone know why on earth this is called 'The Prince's Cactus?'

The heroine is good. I really liked her in the beginniing... but toward the end... i feel like she lost some of her attitude that was soo great bout her. WEll anyway.. the story for me was moving too fast, esply today the last two chaps. if it was longer .. i would ahve gave it a 10 X) . BUT its an 8 b/c the drawing was good and the heroine is AWESOME ! XD
