it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either..
if it had the hero girl and demon king with more phocus and a heck lot more of romance i wudda loved it to bits but it had a few interruptions.
It's actually a cute story and the 2 lead characters are interesting, but it just lacked more solidity to their one-on-one relationship

Lol, this was a good chuckle just waiting to be opened. The art is alright. I have seen better. On the whole this manga was a success but could do with some changes or improvements.

The manga has at least a sensible storyline, it has good artwork (it has bishies, especially Subaru, the Demon Lord) and there seems to be enough romance in the air to arouse the interests of the readers.

I was about to say very cute, but I realized its already been mentioned. Reminds me a lot of Dazzle by Endo, with an innocent girl who goes on adventures with an older, collected man. Fun read. Vol 1 is about the demon lord and a hero, vol. 2 has characters from vol. 1, but is more about a general who's turning wolf.

You can read this first. But for fluidity's sake you are supposed to read this after volume 2.

Worth a read, it's cute, fluffy, not too long and fairly funny at times. It's far from a masterpiece, but it's a great way to kill a hour or two.

Still, go in knowing that the writing style and drawing style are both FULL BLOWN shoujo. It seems it was published in a shounen magazine or something, but this is undoubtedly a shoujo manga. I didn't know that, I always hate shoujo for the creepy style(for a guy), annoying female-male relationships(that girls and some guys might find attractive?)... I mean, it's aimed at female readers, obviously normal guys wouldn't be comfortable with it(especially these princely characters and their treatment of the female characters, I shudder when imagining myself in that situation, way too sugary and sweet for my taste). This one might not be aimed at females by the mangaka, but her style is nonetheless full-blown shoujo which shouldn't be tagged with shounen in the first place. However, since it was short and mainly comedy, I was able to read and enjoy these two volumes. The sequel however... hah.

It was alright, but it sort of felt like there was no backstory. Like, it would've been nice to meet the characters and view their history more closely. I mean, if I'd found out WHY the demon guy was interested in her, it might've been better... it sort of had a, "Well... this is the circumstance," feel to it. Also, I felt like the girl looked so much younger than the guy, so it felt like a 10 year old with an 18 year old. ._.

The manga was absolutely adorable. Cute characters and beautiful guys. The series gives a good introduction to the characters and hopefully Dear gives a great story too. ~ A nice read.
