The world of Siesta is set in fantasy Europe where there are people called bullet users who were discriminated against badly for reasons unknown to readers as of volume 1.

So far.. with only two volumes released and volume 3 still on progress, i have my expectation on this manhwa.
The first volume fails me, but I continue my reading cause I like the arts! (especially the color ones). Then the 2nd volume turns out to have a good story development. I like the heroine, she has a strong heart and a thoughtful character. Somehow.. The heroine's ability reminds me of Peter Petrelli's (Heroes). Cool~
And for anyone who complained about poor translations, ... @Avatarbriman; imagine how much effort a person to do everything by herself. Buying the books, ripping them, scanning, translating, editing many titles all by herself, and the most important thing is her consistency in release frequencies. I take my hat off~
But to be fair, even i, a non-english native speaker, realized there's a lot of mistakes in the translations. So please be more careful on this beautiful manhwa~~

It's a very good manwha. Admittedly, some parts were confusing and hard to understand but overall I give it a high rating. The main female lead is not the typical shoujo personality. I doubt the romance will be either. The supernatural elements is a bonus too.

I really enjoyed the first few volumes, however the ending seemed rushed and glossed over many plot points, which I believe should have been better fleshed out. The characters were enjoyable and the world was set up nicely. I think I would have enjoyed the read much more if there was an extra volume or two at the end. This would have allowed for a less confusing and chopped story, as well as some more character development.
The first three volumes would get a rating of about an 8 or 9, but unfortunately the ending dragged it down.
I had a great time reading the beginning, and while the ending did let it down in my mind, if I ask myself whether I regret reading it, at first I'm not sure but I can honestly say I did not regret the read.

Awesome premise it never really lived up to. First two, three volumes are quite good, skip the rest. The end (last chapter in particular) was generic and even a tad bit infuriating. Pity, I adored this series.

The art is really really pretty in this manwha---the mangaka is really good at drawing eyes and hair! I also love the general atmosphere of the whole manwha..
It's great!

OK, this series reminds me of manga called gakuen alice in not really meany ways but w/e , there are some small similarities but i still like siesta , maybe even love it, but i would like to tell you of some similarities that i found witch is not allot but still
dont mind me people im just really obsessed with ga so i noticed this stuff ,these are just a few similarities i found , i think the reason i like this series so much is because it has these small things but stand alone is awesome defiantly alot more mature then GA too ,anyways i should stop comparing.
but besides that i love the story , i love the art (but the body portions are weird), i love the development , and i like that i have no idea where im going with the story , WHY ? because i like to not know what comes next in the story ive read so much manga that was such a wast of time, this series is really making laugh out loud. also since there's no scanlations who wants to go bother yen press for the English version please let me know if u want to join me in my spamming

I love this.
It has a wonderful main girl lead who actually thinks with her brain and not her emotions.
The plot is pretty nice.
The chemistry between the two are also well executed. (right now they have little but that's the whole point)
only problem:WHY DON'T YOU UPDATE MORE QUICKLY??

Really interesting and original, don't think I know of a series quite like this one or at least with the same types of male + female leads. The best way to explain it: deep-thinking shoujo girl meets hot headed shounen boy (and he's ACTUALLY very cruel, blunt and womanizing - not something you see in a shoujo, or at least carried out fully) with probably very subtle romance to come. I really hope the plot thickens and more character development comes in to play. Also, the art is great and I love how Dia is drawn, adorable!
This never was able to become one of my favorites because the scans took forever and were kind of confusing when found. Now that more is out (and hopefully continues to come) I can't wait! Definitely recommened. c:

Is it wrong to admit that this is one of the very few manhwa whose art didn't turn me off?? I loved it. The story is good and the art isn't like most manhwa I've seen. It totally looks manga-ish. That sounds so wrong and discriminatory but I can't help it.
There are mangas with horrible art and sometimes it does turn me off but somehow it's different. It feels different. The art I've seen in manhwa isn't ugly per se but you know and feel the difference. I've tried reading manhwa but the art usually turns me off even though the story is so freaking interesting. It's also hard to get used to reading left to right, but I'm just nitpicking...anyways
But this...this manhwa is really good. The art and the story is great! I love it! It has totally made me rethink reading only manga. It's because I've been traumatized in the past where I come across manhwas with gorgeous covers and interesting story lines but then I start then it just goes down hill from there. Whatever, read this manga! It's made a convert out of me.
