I adore all of SHIOMI Chika's works but this is my top favorite one. <3 There's nothing not to love in this manga.

Cool, adorable female lead

Kyaa! Just a few pages into the first volume and I thought I had a glimpse of a female version of the "immortal L" - dunking a month's worth of sugar into coffee. Character wise, manipulative Yakou has finally met his match yet! Also... My overactive imagination was running amok with the subtle undertones of something's-going-on-amongst-the-guys. Alas the story began to get rather predictable after a while...

Poor Yakou...

It'd be better if the romantic plot had a bit more comedic subtext because there's a lot you can do with Yakou's whole ridiculous love life.

I mean he falls in love with a ghost in his best friend's girlfriend's body (and almost NTRs her), then that ghost starts living inside him for 7 years, secretly leads him to her direct blood descendant and tries to set them up with each other. Yurara secretly had such a charmingly immature personality in the prequel, it'd be nice if we got some of her perspective, watching her boyfriend fall for, and flirt with a girl that looks exactly like her from inside his body. I'd been hoping for a gag about how Yakou simply likes the hime look. It's really too bad that the manga is constrained by shoujo tropes; I could go for some ghost-in-law (or even bigamy) or some sort of soul merge. Don't even get me started on "arbitrary love triangle"-kun, what a pointless and unconvincing person that guy is. Really fucks with a bunch of the "true love" themes in the manga, seems like his entire purpose was so readers could have someone to fantasize being sexually assaulted by because Yakou is too nice a guy.

I really like Shiomi Chiaki's manga, but I find myself often thinking that'd she could write far better for a seinen demographic. Her stories are really 1 or 2 components away from being really exceptional seinen (borderline josei), instead of what we get which is no more or less an above average shoujo manga. Yukarism is particular could've done very good with some unconventional relationship endings. Actually it's strange how the material in the prequel is avoided (which had even more shoujo tropage) to the degree that Yurara (either of them) don't even get their names stated in this series.

Must Read for Yurara no Tsuki fans

Love this sequel. I hope some of the main characters from Yurara no Tsuki will be present in this one too. For those who have read Yurara no Tsuki before, I must say this is a must read. I was suprised that Rasetsu looks soo much like the ghost that possessed Yurara and now (lolx...*possible spoiler*) Y.a.k.o... Still I think Yurara (ghost) looks much more beautiful and mature \^_^/ Cheers.

Boringgggg

I don't like it. It's so uninteresting to me.

The story is so repetitive. Every chapter the girl goes to exorcise some zomgscaryghost w this 2 dudes. And their tricks to exorcist ghost are always the same old shit. Splashing some water and saying some lines.

The heroine, in normal circumstances, is all weak and stupid. But when she suddenly senses a ghost, she goes "CHING", another person. Those serious, powerful, cool heroine. But she's not so powerful afterall. There are always some moments where she gets possessed/influenced by the ghost so damn easily. The character is simply confusing. Isn't she supposed to be a strong, powerful zomgyoucannoteverwinme person? After she gets saved by one of these two dudes, she goes CHING! WOAH I HAVE BEEN ENLIGHTENED SO NOW I WILL "PURIFY" YOU, and appears to be cool again. What the heck is this shit?

Besides, the romance is TOO SLOW. That strong, cool heroine is now a stupid girl, who likes cakes and blushes very easily when people praises her, intentionally or not. And then, those 2 dudes, I don't even know if they like her or not. Yeah, they showed some signs, but they have to be more obvious.

I gave this manga a 7 because of the beautiful artwork. The characterization is bull, and the plot is boring.

Nah, I don't think it deserves that high.
