OMG this manga is one of the best shoujo-romance mangas EVER XD
the characters are very unique wink
& the romance between the main characters is adorable ^^
it's different compared to other shoujo-romance manga where the girl or guy falls in love and try to win their heart and etc.
In this manga, they are somewhat rivals in "the last game" and unconsciously, they fall in love with each other ^^ but they're both shy about their feelings and yeah smile

I was reading the first two chapters in a nonchalant way. Thinking that it was a sports manga (coz title). But come by the end of chapter 3, i stopped reading and stared to make sure that i read it right and said out loud, "DID HE JUST EFFING PROPOSED TO HER?". And that was the start of my obsession with this manga.

Finally a shoujo where the female is at least as smart as the male lead. Of course there are already some exceptional stories with this trait but it's past time this was the rule and not the exception.

The main guy's dedication to the girl is admirable and absolutely adorable. I love him. He's not a jerk like all those other shoujo male leads. Unfortunately, his love interest is TOO DENSE--and the poor guy ended up with such a

low self-esteem that he can't even tell that the girl likes him!
. She's freaking adorable and has a great personality--but she. is. so. socially. out of it! I guess that's the point... but she needs to get a bit more of a clue.

I understand her--I have a friend just like her who is A COMPLETE NERD AND KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT LOVE... But come on, give the dude a break! He's been waiting for you for TEN years! xD

I really wasn't expecting to like this series all that much. When I first stumbled upon this I was looking for a light goofy romance and now I'm sitting here waiting with anticipation for the next chapters to come out. I like how this shoujo doesn't take place in high school and it's the boy doing all the goofy embarrassing things while the girl is extremely oblivious.
Super cute and a great almost realistic story.

This manga is just adorable. Like the kind of adorable where the male lead proposes to the female lead without her even knowing. The kind of innocence that goes home and has a mental freak out after realizing what they just did. Ahh I love post-secondary romances, mostly because I see more of a possibility of it lasting than I would with a high school romance, even though this manga actually starts out earlier than high school. I love time skips too :3

the plot was generally common, having one protagonist seeing the other as a rival, but the way the mangaka presented the story was interesting. its not your tear jerking type. its a good read if you're not into very deep plots.

the characters were unique. the female's personality was different compared to your stereotypical shoujo heroine (somewhat emotional). she doesnt assume to much things and does things at her own pace. although the male lead was your stereotypical hero (popular, handsome, perfect), i was somewhat intrigued by how he was portrayed. he needs more masculinity. its was cute seeing the way he tries to win over her and somehow fails, looking all weird.

Wow!! This one is better than special A even though it is short! The Art is perfect!! The plot is -reversed special A in a good way-!! The main characters are both strong and smart =) Everything is perfect in this manga!! Special A is down compared to this! well, except for number of chapters lol, But i still believe that they will continue this manga >=) It's too good to end it here!1
We can call it a '' Typical Shoujo Manga in a Good Way''
It is highly reccommended =D It's not a waste of time, I am so happy i read this!!

Arkani's review hit a lot of the points I was going to make.
If there was a textbook example of a slow burn story, this would be it. Within reading three chapters I was already a bit frustrated with the main heroine and the repetitiveness of the romance. If you like hearing the phrase, "He's my precious friend!" over and over, you won't mind it.

I found myself reading on just so I could finally reach the point when they get together, and boy, I regret having to read so far in. I'm not saying they should get together right away, but they didn't get together until chapter

The storyline is really predictable. There was never a point where I was surprised or impressed by how the plot progressed. The art is just okay. It's not bad, but it's not particularly cute either.
I found myself liking the male lead and the side characters a lot more than the female lead, Kujou. She's a very bland blank slate character so I had trouble rooting for her. I was rooting for them just for Yanagi's happiness instead. The side characters are a lot more complex, and I enjoyed them much more.

I would skip this one to be honest.

I mean, that's all I can really say about it - it's cute. It's a bit more interesting than other shoujo plots, and I think the selling point is how stupid the main boy is...
It's a little better than average, but it can easily keep interest if you like shoujo manga.

Development is somewhat slow.
