This is an epic fun manga xD you feel so sorry for the kid, hes so cheerful despite everything, you cant help but love him. I also like the almost tsundere attitude of his sensei. Its really a sweet manga, but theres a hell of alot of humour scattered throughout which makes it very enjoyable to read ^^

"When you're a man, and you feel good, semen comes out of your nose." <--- This is probably the funniest statement i've read in a long time xD and the poor little guy actually believed him rofl, i wonder if there are any 15 year old boys left in this world that are that innocent? But i cried towards the end when his grandmother died ;_; but im glad it had a nice cheerful ending. In fact the end of the extra cracked me up xD that kid was born to be a masochist, im sure of it. That or he's a nymphomaniac in the making (in the male sense, whats the male version of a nympho? o.o)

This manga was one of my first yaoi. I liked it a lot and I like it even now (perhaps it's because I'm a melancholic person? haha). It's not perfect, though. The art is pretty good and the plot is nice (even if it's a typical yaoi story, not very original), characters are well developed. I was caught both by the angst and the romance of the story, and I think the difficulty of the relationship between Yuka and the professor is one of the manga's strong points, together with Yuka's bad familiar situation. I was a little disappointed when I read the ending. I hoped it would have been... more beautiful. Anyway, still a good manga & a cute yaoi! Not a masterpiece, but worth reading.

Didn't get me crying, but was still cute and angsty!

At first, I thought it was the ordinary cliché about a student falling in love with his teacher and hated it. Also, I thought it was kinda childish (I'm sorry, but I’m not really into young ukes. Especially when they're cheerful and stuff). But as the story was developed, I started to indeed feel sorry for Yuka. And as soon as Gotou started to respond to his love...it was the cutest thing ever!
I love the way Gotou's so responsible even if he pretends he doesn't care, and how he tries to get Yuka's attention off whatever could make him sad.
But there's just something about they're relationship that's really sweet...I like the way it got more intense slowly, and not rushed up.
But what I liked the most is the contrast between their ages. It’s not like some mangas out there that a grown up man and a kid are just the same. Gotou has doubts, problems, internal conflicts…but also desires that he doesn’t know if it’s right to fulfill. He takes a long time to make a decision and is hesitant about everything because he knows the pressure of their relationship. And ever more adorable than that is how he can’t stand to be away from Yuka and feels the need to touch him and just love him.
The words Ougi-sensei chose are also so right! I love mostly the way Gotou sweet talks to Yuka. “All I can think of is you”, “I think of you and start shaking” and stuff like that…the best!

Oh! And I love how they invert their thoughts! The sex machine Gotou becomes such a cry-baby when it’s about Yuka; and the innocent and naïve Yuka, on the other hand, gets quickly into sex!

I’m rating it 9, based on common teacher-student stories and how this one was so different!

PS: I love Yuka’s grandmother! She’s such a nice person!
PS 2: samurailynn, I’m proud of you, little beginner! You’ll eventually find yourself addicted to yaoi =P (‘m warning: it might be dangerous! XD)
PS 3: As for "The Man in Kabuki City", I loved it! It was real sweet (although the art and genital parts' art was kinda disgusting). But I love the kind of seme Aoi is and I also love the kind of story where a host falls in love. But it could be bigger and have more angst. Btw...does Ougi-sensei like the gazettE? 'Cause...Aoi, Yuu and Yamada?! O.O

I liked this. It's the first yaoi I've read. I've found that I like stories showing depth or true love in the relationship, whether it is yaoi, yuri, or straight. This short "falling in love" story was good.

this would have to be one of the best I’ve ever read! it is very original and completely different to other yaois of the teacher/student plot. the protagonist, albeit looking like the typical sparkly uke, is a very strong boy and I doubt that there would be many others that could cope just as well under such severe bullying. He deserves all the happiness and sensei really does make him happy biggrin
i can't help but to think that this story is rather misogynistic but, nevertheless it deserves a 10 from me. OMG this manga was just so beautiful!

OUGI Yuzuha

Story Line: Not you're typical student/teacher story. It does have some angst on it but not a lot but the humor balance it all out. Once again OUGI Yuzuha never fails to exceed my expectations.
Art: I think the art is great. Ougi have his own signature art that make it unique and at par with others. I hated it first but now it's one of my top biggrin i also think it is most smuttiest art lol the detail of the male part is kinda realistic lol
Character: I really like both the seme and uke, their personality is perfect. The development wasn't rush up and I'm satisfied with their relationship.

Why the hell did it only have "yaoi" in the genre?~
Anyways, I liked this story.
The art wasn't the best, a little akward at times, but still fine.
The best thing about this manga was the story, and the way it was made.
The characters weren't bad, but they were made a little too mellow for my taste.
But the nice story of such a school teacher, and a boardline shotacon cute kid was good, and made it a worthy read.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
The fact that they didn't just to bed right away, helped too XD.

The oneshot was really cute, too XD.

I don't agree with @Calcifer about the low score. Even though this story might not be to the liking of people, it seems that she/he gave a 1 only to lower the score because of some hatred to it>.<
In the sea of smut, this was a nice story.

I myself can't rate it higher because of the flaws, but it's a really nice story.

I don't usually like student/teacher stories but it always seems to be different when Ougi-sensei does it. The story that is told is quite nice and as mentioned there are some points that are "heart-wrenching". Ougi's art just doesn't get old, ever.
