Not exactly. Interesting manga, but I doubt it will follow School Days' lead, since that was a special case, being based off a visual novel & all that. Yandere are usually dangerous when there is competition involved . . . Is there?
I see the manga is showcasing the gruesome of a twisted relationship of a couple, but I think the author doesn't intend to let it go down the extreme. Like most romance, the manga only touches the sweetness (can you hate the cute-looking, mentally poor little Koharu despite all the things she'd done?) while abandoning the stress of the relationship and the complication of both Koharu's and Akira's personalities, leaving the reader guessing on the issues. I might be wrong, but so far the characters have never leave the safe zone, in my opinion. But it's interesting to see how this will end, and it has its own cheer, too.
Well it's not that I like "Scary" stuff... No, I don't REALLY like Scary stuff, so far and with unfortunately 10 Chapters only, Koharu no Hibi is... Good you know, but, what could happen if the history as is going right now could have a "bad situation" with Mitsuki?... I guees you all know what I mean; someday Mitsuki is "Staking" and "Chasing" the poor Akira as usual and someday she may see something that... Well... Will Snap her out of her mind and "Do" something to Akira or the person or whatever thing that may or not lead Mitsuki to madness...? What do you thing boys and girls?...

I didn't expect much out of this series...but after reading the first two chapters I really like it. The story is about a guy who is stalked by a girl that seriously infatuation with him. Though he seems to harbor mixed feelings for the girl...her strange ways of showing she loves him creeps the guy out. Overall, the story is about a guy who tries to deal with his stalker in comical ways.
this series is good and refreshing, but I don't think it's that funny. I would REALLY love to have a GF like mutsuki though (lol). She's so in love with the main char and that's very interesting.
The problem lies with the lead character. what does he think he's doing, smacking girl many times as he likes (it's probably intended as humor, bit it's inappropriate). he's a hypocrite. he's not worthy for this girl's love (at least until chapter 10).
if he smack a girl just once again, I'll definitely drop this series
I recommend you to read this series, if you like the genre

I read till chapter 10 and so far this is my opinion.
I think the guy is way over-thinking things. Sure, the girl is a little strange and even a bit obsessive but she is nowhere near yandere territory. She is just too much in love with him. Maybe this will all change in later chapters and she really has a bad family background or past like some implied. But for now I think there is no real reason for the guy to be scared of her.
Overall it is a rather good manga. Some characters' proportions are dimensioned weird though. So the average art may pose a problem.

At first i thought man this girl is a stalker and pretty creepy, but as i continued to read i started to realize that alot of the time is the boys perspective that makes it creepy. I think (at least so far whether its intentional or not) that she is just uninhibited and does what many young couples think.

like when she made the bentou or smelled his pillow, its typical couple behavior for the person to want the other to like what they made or get nostalgic when we recognize their smell, and she is just the embodiment of our inner excitement of those things. We restrain ourselves over how happy we fill when complimented or how excited we get waiting to see if they like what we made, while she does not. So as it is i see this as the boy sometimes over thinking things and other times its the girls uninhibited nature
*Shiver* man I don't no what to do. Just finished the first chapter and the final scene just freaked me the hell out. If you like psychological/romance with a hint of horror than be my guest. Me, I'm gonna continue reading it when there's daylight.
This is quite... scary, she must had quite a traumatic past or a terrible family in some way for her to be like this... she might end up killing him over a misunderstanding or killing another girl just because she said hi to him or something, if my girlfriend was like that i would need to do some teraphy with a phsycology and send her to the best physcology in town for an extremely long time to fix her problem, still, i wont say its bad but its not so good either, and i smell school days ending
Wow, this is a refreshing perspective of young love (stalking) I cant wait to see how the story develops. It does make you think if it will turn into a hentai or ecchi manga but alas, i still like it.
