Description
Reo is tomboy Aiko's rival, and Ai strives to beat him in everything – like basketball and popularity – but her efforts always fail with Reo always coming out on top. AAH omg I got hooked after reading just a couple of pages. Made me giggle.
Ai's hair is badass but Mai's?...eh not so much. The guys are such hotties too *_*

I'm not sure why there are so many high ratings for this series. I found it thoroughly annoying. It's incredibly fast-paced and overall wth. I felt there were so many things that might have been done with it that weren't.
For instance, what's Ai's school life like? Most of her brothers aren't really distinguishable. Where are her parents? Why on earth do girls give her love letters (seriously?) I was also thoroughly unimpressed by her lack of maturity.
I mean, so I understand this is a shoujo smut manga and originally a one shot, but there is shoujo smut where the heroine is smart, tomboyish and practical, and there is shoujo smut where the heroine just talks big and doesn't have any common sense. Her lack of character (development and otherwise) just gets me.
Now Reo is very good looking; and unfortunately he's a thorough jerk. He doesn't have any character development either. As far as I'm concerned he just exists to be a jerk to Ai.
I'm giving this series a 6 because as far as it goes, the art is lovely, and it was an alright read. It just could have been so, so much more. If I wanted an awesome tomboyish heroine and a jerk hero, I'd go read Dengeki Daisy or something.

Is it just me, or when the guy (you absolutely loathed and detested until today maybe?) is pressing you for sex under the illusion that you are another woman on your first date, do you not usually say "HECK NO!" and backhand him, preferably across the room? Who gives their virginity to someone they thoroughly dislike, because they don't want to lose to the other (unknown) women in his life? Is this chick even legal?

I just LOLed at Dubby's comment about this manga ^^ now I'm really interested in reading the manga! Haha, the first chapter was pretty good

I really enjoy this manga! I love how the female protagonist is such a tomboy and she hates giving up. Her as Mai though... ugh. She's not exactly pretty with that wig and I would much rather see her in her original hair because it looks really good. Reo, oh man. At first you would think that he is like any ordinary player but he actually turns out to be pretty cute? lolol. You can obviously tell that he loves Mai but I find the romance to be a bit fast paced.. Ai and Reo are really cute together though. I was somehow anticipating something more emotional but I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Okay, so, to sum it up...
THIS. MANGA. IS. HOT.
It's filled with so many typical shoujo cliches, but holy SHIT, is Leo just SMOKING. Love at first sight. No joke. I love it.
To be honest, Ai looks better normally than as "Mai." I want to bitchslap "Mai."
BUTTT...
It's really fast-paced, but that's only because the series was originally only meant to be a single volume. But then the readers liked it, so it got extended. The first volume was the best; after that, it starts going downhill (so far - it's only at chapter 7/8). It's got the typical cliche of the random girl & guy who come in as "rivals" and try to break the main couple apart, and it makes you sigh and shake your head. BUT I'm willing to forgive that because Leo is SO DAMN HOT.
Did I mention Leo is hot?
Ai is also a good main character. I love her. She's badass, not a pussy, and I just plain adore her. HOWEVER, as I mentioned earlier, when she's under her "Mai" persona, I want to bitchslap her. As Mai, she turns into typical shoujo heroine. GRRR less Mai, more Ai PLEASE.
