this manga is booooring
i will probably finish it cause i started it but come on can't a girl get some actual plot
i dont feel that hiyo is cute though and im not really opposed to ditzy, naive, weak either
she was just super bland

and the guy was not attractive to me at all, he is just as annoying as hiyo
i wish the manga was about jin (the wolf) and a completely different girl
or the fox demon and a completely different girl

what a troublesome manga

First of all, I would like to congratulate the author, Miyagi Riko. I wasn't aware of this LOVE MONSTER manga until my friend introduced me to this kind of thing. She told me that this manga is one of her favorite and maybe I should try to. Before that, she warned me that this manga is some sort of pervert, malicious, you know that kind of thing. I thought this to myself, "Isn't all mangas like that? I mean, WE are teenagers and it is more prone to our stage. Well, unless we read a childish story." So I started reading it. Well, I was really hooked up with the story and I can't help myself. The story, the plot, - it seems realistic. On the contrary, I don't believe on monsters and I think that they don't exist. I read all the 82 Chapters for 5 days (well, I didn't really pay attention to the days as long as I understood the story). As I read, and read, and read, I realized the Tenma Kouro is handsome. Hahaha! Then, I admire that vampire midget, L. Bradford for his cuteness and love for J. and K. How sweet! When I finally realized that it is going to end, I felt kinda depressed and I really don't know that I am now a LOVE MONSTER ADDICT. Well, I can't help myself. My friend and I had a big crush on that Kouro and I kept telling this on myself to wake up on my senses and face reality. They are just drawings, you know. Maybe the next days won't be too bad and I will fully forgot that addiction. Again, thumbs up to Miyagi Riko for an excellent creation. I hope she will read this someday and hoping that she will make LOVE MONSTER SEASON 2. I'm looking forward to it.. ツ

this was the first manga i fully completed (all the other mangas i read are still ongoing==), anyway, at first i was gonna review it all 'kawaii, omg, etc' but after reading the previous reviews, i realise yeah, the main girl is treated pretty crappily and is kinda violated. i like the story and the charcters are relly hot (the guys that is), and the main girl is pretty cute, but i would've preferred to have less sexual scenes. i liked the beginning and all but i thinkthe ending was a let down, but. meh

I LOVE THIS MANGA. I love the characters, I loved the story and I simply adored the bishie goodness! For those who believe this is a fantasy of the mangaka they are probably right. This title is an escapism and chick fantasy its light and fluffy and has all the cotten candy sweetness to every expression. It will have fangirls the world over sighing as they sneak another chapter under the covers with all the youkai hotness. The art isn't increadibly beautiful (although the bishies are) but it good, solid and consistant - I genuinely like it. So if you are looking for a hot blooded, passionate and brooding tengu prince and his adorable but some what oblivious human princess this is just the manga for you!

I LOVED this manga in the beginning like crazy, I'd be waiting for new updates every day... then it just started to die a little around the 60th chapter (like some other person said).. it was just rushed, and started to get ridiculously repetitive... I feel like the author was getting a little bored of the story.. so the readers because a little bored too (or at least I was) I just finished reading the manga a few minutes ago and I thought that the ending was a dissapointment... it could've ended a lot better... but what can you do? It was still an okay read. I give it a 6.8 (it's only that high because of how much I liked it before...)
*sigh* ... & I has such high hopes for this manga too...

I think I heard my hopes crash... It was cute and intersting at the beginning, but it got extremely annoying as soon as I read ch. with "the white crows tale". I considered dropping this manga, but I didn't, only beacause I liked HiyoxKurou pair. It ended the way I thought and hated to see it end - no surpise there, but I finaly saw what's been missing in main pairs relationship through out the whole manga(yep, an extra about HxK "happy" valentines day smile mmm, cute).
Typical girl in love surrounded by bunch of bishies kinda of manga plus love saved the world plot twist and you get "Love monster".
7 for effort and extra chapter.

Really good shoujo but I prefer the bad ending and it'll be better if the mangaka explain in more detail about Hiyo. Probably he is from the future smile. He is a pure image of Hiyoko in the end and the resemble of the names - Hiyoko - Hiyo.

I felt that the story is kind of rushed and the characters are too predictable and unrealistic. The art is not amazing in my opinion and the feelings that should come natural while reading a story feel somewhat forced........

the art was okay,, but the overall story were not. i continue reading this just because ive already read some vol n it kinda interesting in the beginning n just wanna know how it ends. the whole story really made me bored. its just a fan service or something like that. im not quite excited reading this, the story just keep repeating one into another. im even more interested in hiyo dad. well, i guess if u dont reaaaaly have other 2 read, i guess its okay 2 read it. even its not that good.
i'll give the point score just for the beginning n the art. not for the whole story. its crap.. (sorry 4 anyone who like this manga, but thats true..)

terrible manga

This manga is just terrible. First, the behavior of the characters are completely unrealistic. Osora almost gets raped on her first day at the school and she accepts it like it's a daily occurrence. Is there anyone in this world that would be that easy going? The others are just as bad. Kouro acts like a king from the middle ages. I don't know what audience the manga is targeting but I can't accept any of the characters' absurd behaviors.

The pacing starts out really slow and then goes really fast. During the switch, the story changes from school life with plausible events to wild "demon-slaying" fantasy. It's like the mangaka couldn't come up with a consistent storyline so he had a school life first half to develop the relationships between the characters before their fantasy adventures.
