Jin, a mysterious kid with a halo carved in his hand, and extraordinary fighting skills, lives with his grandfather in a beggar's community. In other place, the old scientist Amagi is searching for professor Kanzaki, to ask him for the whereabouts of the "player" -a kind of genetic altered humans- Zet, which they created some years ago. Soon, Jin and his grandfather are attacked by a mysterious man who turns into a monster.
The connection between professor Amagi and professor Kanzaki, seems to connect also young Jin to the mystery of the "players" and Zet.

A pretty interesting piece of work. The graphic detail is indeed reminiscent of Gantz. There are times when I do question the author's style of story telling and I ABSOLUTELY LOATH Kouga (can't understand his reasoning at all)

Still, I would like to see if things will heat up so for now I'll keep at it. ...That said, if they keep the focus on Kouga any longer I think I'm going to throw up... XP

i love this manga, and i love it for many reasons, the three top most being the characters, the story and the art, the characters all have depth, none of that damn 2-d shit you get in manga like bleach, the story has real tradgedy, a happy ending is by no means a fore gone conclusion, and the art is so clear i considered consulting my optometrist to review my options

The only complaint I have is that it took about 70-80 chapters for things to really get super-kickass in the story. Mangaka really took his time for character development, but as of chapter 104, it seems to have paid off superbly. After reading I''s, which is a shounen romance manga, I can't believe a seinen manga of this intensity coming close in violence to Gantz was from the same author. Beautiful art and exciting story. Brilliant.

i gave 5 because it can be has good as it is bad the next chapter, the art is really good but the story is so poorly developed, some part are really good, and the next is bad
The second act was totaly useless, even after reading up to chapter 100 i don't see the use of the second part aside from avide free orgy of violence and some rape scene.

the rape really put me off and the author us it a little too much for me, he should try writing some hentai and not ruining his other work with useless rape scene.

I don't recommend it since there's a lots of better manga out there, so if you are like me and have nothing else to do, read it but it's nothing near being a good manga, it's average and i'm nice (because the art is really good)

In fact the author should draw manga with the story wrote by people good at it.

Great read. Though frustrating at times. Just when it starts to get good, the chapter ends. Or when Masakazu's left you in suspense in the previous chapter, he then does a brief recap in the next. Despite that, this is definitely one to read if you're a fan of seinen.

This is not your average superhero manga and that's what I like about, from the bits of romance(although I wish there was more of it) to the mature growth of the main character it portrays a realism in the manga. Although I didnt like when they switched the main character to kouga for 20+ chapters.

Really good series, I enjoyed reading it and even tho it's so far into it, it feels like its startng to develop a good plot, though we need a big bad villian..

There is a plot, not very complex, but at least, we will be able to get some ending. The author has really make effort to construct a logical plot. Indeed he explains the motivation of each character, why one character acts like this. You know character development.

It is for "mature" readers. due to very crude violence that may "disturb", it's rare tough.

Romance, action what do you want else??

seriously, the plot is very confusing. it keeps jumping back and forth. kinda twisted too. but definitely a hint of romance, which i guess to lighten up the dark theme. makes me wonder if the manga is based from a game...

as like most series once it gets to the main parts and stops the introductions and stuff then it gets boring it always does and if the main story started at chapter 60+ this series will be as long as gantz or prob half gantz started when kei started training the new guys in the dinosaur part i think
