Description
Yoshioka Futaba has a few reasons why she wants to "reset" her image and life as a new high-school student. Because she's cute and had a demure personality she was ostracized by her female friends in junior high, and because of a series of misunderstandings and mishaps, she couldn't get her feeling across to the one boy she has always liked, Tanaka Kou.

I don't know how I would rate this manga if I was younger, but now that I have read a fair share of shoujos, I think that that there has to be something more that keeps my interest, as I just felt annoyed with the

love polygon that has been going on, *cough* Kou's middle school friend, the unnecessary triangle with Kikuchi
It was a sweet little romance with some nice ups and downs.
Now if only they would complete the rest of the story in anime form. The first season was good, but I won't hold my breath. So many animes never show the full story which kinda sucks.

I'm glad Futaba and Kou end up together in the end. I found them both to be really likeable. Though it would have been nice to see it happen a bit earlier than it did. Her reasoning for realizing her feelings were nice, but I noticed that all that happened on the School Trip seem to not really affect why she decided she was still in love with him that much. When reading I was kind expecting it to happen then, not a few chapters later. Though it was a nice ending for them.
I love that Shuuko and Kominato ended up together. I understand why she liked Kou's brother, but found that her and Kominato were better matched even before finding out they got together. She luckily figures out that he's such a great guy and falls for him. The guy deserves it and I found her to be a really likeable character as well. The other girls changed her for the better.
It was nice to see Yuuri get a man herself. She was adorable.
I'd say the only flaw was Futaba made me frustrated because of how fickle she was, but hey that's the drama for them to realize they love each other so it's okay.
Oh and towards the end, the author trolls you for a few pages by making it seem like Kou died from being hit by the car. Don't fall for it. XD

Why do you feel the need to change yourself so others will like you? If they don't like how you really are then they'll never be true friends. You don't need friends like that, I really don't get the message this shoujo is trying to give us. Is it to be popular, change yourself? Well ig thanks for the shitty message,s shoujo. As always.

Split this manga in half. The first half would be a ten easy. Right up there with Skip Beat. But the second half happened. That actually happened. Like the nasty aftertaste of something divine. Sweet grapes turned sour in your mouth. Why did that happen? I actually wasn't a fan of Strobe Edge but this series had me gushing over the sweet character moments, empathy inducing heroine and truly cool guy lead.
Why the drama? Or, why so soap operatic with it? Drama isn't a bad thing but it's annoying when not handled properly. I guess what has me so frustrated is that the turn for the worst was a sharp right out of Awesome Town straight into Ughs-ville.
The nine rating is to satisfy the nostalgia in me. I whiled away many happy hours until the dreaded school festival arc. It's all downhill from there.

I liked this almost as much as I liked Strobe Edge. Absolutely adorable. It's got some parts that aren't all that useful to the plot, but it's a shoujo. What do you expect. =) The art is gorgeous.

i can't believe i'm giving one of my favorite manga of all time a rating of 8 >.< with that said, everything about this manga and story and characters was beautiful and just refreshing from the beginning.
although, to be honest, the story went downhill toward the middle. i do not blame anyone but the author for this. but i guess ultimately i don't blame the author because she needed some drama in the manga. but the thing is, the story was already gorgeous without a the drama she added.
anyway this story is definitely not one of the authors better one. if you're looking for a great story read Strobe Edge. that one has a great story, great characters, and great art. both has great art tho. i just can't emphasis enough about how much i adored the beginning of this manga.

I liked this manga it was very cute and had good start so I gave it 9/10 (Add more points because the art Amazing) ... but it went downhill I hated every single character in this manga till the end I couldn't like it again it was a horrible experience for me I just wish I didn't read it until it's complete (I was follwoing it ever since the announcement for the manga) maybe I wouldn't hate it this much

I loved the story and the characters. But somehow it truned quite meh towards the end. I think the love triangle made it cold for me. Besides two characters I wanted to end up together didn't, so that truned me off too. But overall is a good manga.
Like most people I have mixed feelings about this series. The first half of it was just amazing, but then.... seriously, who actually likes love triangles in shoujo manga? Someone always gets hurt, everyone more or less know who's going to win... it's like reading a train wreck. I'm also incredibly not into how "stealing someone's SO" is treated like a matter of course.
I didn't actually enjoy the ending because I lost track of all of Kou's good points 15 chapters prior, when he was being an absolute jackass.

I have mixed feelings about this one, I really liked the start, it was refreshing and cheerful to read about. However I felt that all the complicated harem like things weren't necessary and just made the story hard to read. I liked the ending but the events just leading up before the ending was rather boring and tiring. I wouldn't call it angst as I actually like that genre, it's just things that make you feel uncomfortable. The ending was nice however so I just have really really mixed feelings about this. As for the characters, I liked most of them, they have these little quirks that make them interesting and they don't feel shallow. I also found the art really nice, the girls looked pretty and cute and the guys looked really hot ~ It's just how frustrating some parts of the plot were that make me feel like this manga isn't that good.
