Just so funny

This is one that you need to just take a step back from and enjoy. It has so many incredibly funny moments that you will struggle to not laugh.

I dont know about the original, I don't really care how long the plot takes to progress or where it goes and I don't really care about the art as stick figures can make you laugh. I am 100% looking at it from an enjoyment side, if you read it and laugh then your day just got a little better.

This is how a gag manga should be. This is comedy, even things I would not normally find funny had me in fits of laughter. It really is a unique blend and hits the funny bone every time.

Saitama instantly became one of my favorite characters.

liked so much that i started reading ONE raws , and the drawing did not bother me... it made me laugh and think the same...of course MURATA art is insane i always re-read the new chapters.

It's a good series but...

This is basically just going over the original and drawing new art, so why are there 8 page chapters coming out every 2 or more weeks? It's absurd and it seems like the artist just sees this as a day-job or something. There is literally an entire chapter devoted to illustrating a robot flying through the sky, I just don't understand it.

Update:
I think you'll find that if you "take into consideration how amazing the art is" as well as the art of hundreds of other series, and also take into account that he is literally just making an existing, well-respected series look pretty, you'll find that it really shouldn't take 2 weeks to churn out so little, even at the arguably high level of quality with which he depicts it.

He isn't making a new series or anything, there's no new ground being broken here, he's just taking something that's already there and altering the art. If his art had any sort of impact on the narrative or he had a particularly unique style, I could at least entertain the thought that maybe 8 page chapters could warrant two weeks of work, or that an entire chapter being devoted to a robot flying around is justified, but that is not the case. The artist is certainly capable of making pretty pictures, but that's all he does here, and there's no way you can convince me that taking 2 weeks for 8 pages of that isn't, at best, lazy and uninspired.

It got a funny & overpowered hero. Unlike superman, this guy doesn't have a kryptonite that makes him weak knee.

Bet you the anime will be awesome.

Proof that a good manga can be created for the shounen demographic without the cliche stereotypical MC pallets found in 95% of modern action manga.
This series is a breadth of fresh air in its genre.

It's hilarious and if your having a bad day, count on this manga to help you de-stress! It's easy to read and there's nothing that you need to keep remembering in order for the story to make sense. I'm a bit annoyed at the chapter length but I guess that's because I generally don't read this genre and it's to be expected of it. It can be a bit lacking in depth at times, but hey, it's a light read and it's made so that you don't need to think hard whilst reading. I like the story, and I guess if I really get desperate at waiting so long only to have a short chapter I'll just have to face the mandarin characters and read that version.

Hilarious with amazing art

The main component that makes this manga great is the amazing art, the art is on another level and the fight scenes and general scenes are pretty high quality, i dont really get much into gag mangas but i really love this one. i suggest that any one who wants to read this manga, dont let the rating and comments make you read this with a highly critical attitude, just give it its own chance. also i like how his name is One punch man but when you call him O.P man it can also describe what he also is which is "Over Powered" man lol. Also two things im tired of is the comments that take this way too seriously ; its a gag manga essentially but it also has awsome fights and art but some people art trying to treat it like a serious story and lose sight of what it is. Second, im tired of the comparison with the original. Yes the original is great but the art really was lacking so to for "MURATA Yuusuke" to take One's series and remake it with amazingly boosted art is an awesome thing; he also follows the original faithfully and of course gives "One" his credit as the author. its a win Win for "One" in my opinion cause it give his series way more popularity than before. I myself can sometimes give a series a chance despite bad art but i know many people who cant. There fore this version a great for getting the audience that would have avoided his story original story cause of the art. The only issue i have with this is the general one people have, which is the chapter lengths are short and the time periods between each chapter tend to be long

One word. Hilarious. One-punch man is possibly one of the more funnier stories I have no my list - which is quite sad, since I have a lot of comedy on my list. Anyway, the characters are great - the only thing that annoys me are the townsmen and the people who underestimate the characters. The plot, to me, is interesting. It's good enough to keep my interest going, but not the best. 10/10 for the humor.

This is an amazing manga with a great premise. The main character is overtly powerful, but not Gary Tsu like, which is incredibly hard to do in any manga with a strongest main character. They do this by giving other important characters a lot of fighting time. Sometimes I really want him to get into the fray of battle and show everyone that he whoops butt, but if this where to occur, the manga would probably already be done by now and not nearly as comedic or B.A. I especially enjoy the premise that because he is so plain, nobody knows him. This makes me laugh every time I think about it. There is a problem however that keeps me from giving this Manga a full on ten. The zoom ins. It makes it incredibly hard for me to enjoy a manga chapter if most of it is just a zoom in. Adding onto the fact that it updates at a snails pace, it's almost unbearable and some chapters make me feel like they where to lazy to even do filler. Other then that, I have no other complaints about this manga.

The premise is pretty funny and so far as of chapter 21 the main character is entertaining. What is deffinetly NOT entertaining is the frequent use of 4-10 pages/ AN ENTIRE CHAPTER (21.3) on depicting the same scene much like how Bleach wastes pages on extreme closeups or scenery shots completely useless to the storytelling. But I digress, other than the stupid waste of pages this manga tends to have it is still an enjoyable read. Unlike Bleach.

EDIT: Ayup, turned to another crappy manga on the same level as Bleach. Slow release cycle and almost irrelevant plot progression. Seriously this current "arc" if you can even call it that could have been wrapped up in half the chapters it's taken so far.
