I really liked this story the art is amazing (I love the way she draws the eyes!!) I cried though during some parts it just made me soo sad (in my opinion) Some parts of this story were full of emotion and I really think that she made a connection with my interests. So I definately would recommend this to anyone. <3

The best of Tanemura-Sensei

At the tender age of 11 this really blew my mind at how beautiful human relationships and feelings were portrayed throughout the story. It gets confusing at times but not to the point where you can't catch up. It has it flaws though, as a lot is unclear even to the end. The strong points of Tanemura-Sensei are her beautiful art (idgaf if they all look the same, they're distinguishable enough), srong characters with well-written backgorund and portrayal of emotions.
If you are interested or a fan of her works, this is a must-read. The anime was also enjoyable with actual songs, though of course it differs from the manga, it has a nice ending.

Io those readers who r going to read this, full moon isnt a manga that resembles any fairytale story. although the main character, mitsuki is only 12 years old, but her thoughts r way too deeper than her age. even i have to think for a long time to understand a little bit of her feelings. maybe at first there r some of u that think this manga is really hard to understand, but for me, if u tried to be in their shoes, maybe u can get along with the story. ^^ overall, this manga is not a shallow story, the mangaka doesnt lose the character's personalities along the storyline (well done!), i love the characters for who they are, so, GREAT JOB!

Wow, this series is just amazing. I have both read the whole series and watched the whole anime. The two are very different, but just as touching. While reading the scanlations I must have cried over 15 different times by the end. This story is a really good tear jerker if you are feeling down and just want to cry. But even if you don't want to cry, I still sugest that you read it!

I really liked this story (I own the manga at home). It was a cute story but I did find the whole Eichi thing annoying! I found that character really irritating! But I love Arina Tanemura's drawing style! Though the drawings can get a little chaotic to look at because of all the detail... The are still some of the most beautiful looking drawings you will find in a manga! I love it!

I really like some parts of this story. When I first read what it was about, I thought 'this is retarded.' and I also saw the art and thought it was ugly.
...but in the book, the art is gorgeous (the art I saw was for the anime ^^;;), the story gets pretty deep and has some twists that I didn't expect. There is of course a little cliche, and I didn't really like the ending, it seemed thrown together. But it's pretty good, and I suggest it. <3

Wonderful art and heartfelt characters. Some surprising and strange twists, and very dramatic and emotional -- this series can really make you cry! This is probably the most heartfelt of Arinacchi's works - each character has a touching and developed background and things end up being connected in unexpected ways.

As usual, the ending is kind of haphazardly put together, with some random new characters and elements thrown in. The ending is very bittersweet.

It's one of the most touching mangas I've ever read. This story actually helped me cope with a very sad time in my life, and to find new hope. I'm really indebted with Tanemura-sensei for this.
