a 100% great story. this story will forever be in my heart i've read it more than 3 times now ^^ and i don't think i'll ever get tired of it. it is just downright good that <sigh> words fail me. i was really mesmerized by the stories and the characters, this is a good story that will open your eyes to ethereal principles. the characters make a great role model too. each can realate many different types of people. i hope i can convey my thanks to the author, the team, the scanlators, etc ^_^; my whole hearted thanks for sharing this magnificent piece.

I wasn't into adventure and this type of artwork actually. But.. meh. Just give it a try. At first, I was soooo hate it. The artwork look's old and the girl not so tsundere. I kept on downloading it and become so addicted. So unexpected. The Izark so bishie and their adventures keeps me running along.

On top of that, the storyline.. plot, even the mood was created beautifully and the artwork seems gorgeous in no second in my eyes. The story was getting stronger and stronger and I know the purpose and the reason why Izark met Noriko.

The story is different from any other "Shoujo" and girly-girly romance like I love you and let's go to Love Hotel. This two couple more honest and pure in their love.

Eventually, this is highly recommend by me. If you're not into adventure, maybe you will hook up soon.

i love it!! all their adventures... the drama...the action...the fantasy...the suspense...i really love the story!!!

first of all i really like the heroine!! Noriko is such a good heoine to play this part...i mean she isnt really a badass- kickass girl but she isnt whiny either...isnt it cute how she tries to help them in her own little way!! thats just so sweet...theres no doubt why Izark fell for her...

as for Izark...i rrrrrrrreallyyyyy love this guy!!! i mean he was so cooool!!! everybody's hero!!! the character development in him is the best!!!

oh yeah...about the antagonists...when i think about Racheff...i felt kindda sorry for him...all he need was love afterall...

the only flaw that i can think of is that they didnt go all lovey-dovey...i mean they kissed for three times and the 3rd one is only a smack...but even so i think that Izark is really sweet for not making Noriko do things <ya know what i mean> because things all cause problems as ive seen in cliched mangas...besides that said...i really love this couple...

another thing about this manga that i liked is that the characters isnt all major bishoujos and bishounens...there is variety...im getting sick when everybody is so pretty that they all look kindda the same...

in short this is a really great piece of work!!! you people just gotta read this!!!

I usually get bored with adventure mangas probably because most of them tend to repeat the same kind of adventures over and over again, its as if the writer writes extra adventures just to prolong the story. This manga, however, had adventures, events, that were all well connected, it never felt like the author was writing more stories just to prolong the manga.

The concept of the manga seems (girl transport to an unknown world) cliche but the way the author delivered the story was interesting and worth reading. Like what other people have quoted before, it doesn't matter if a story is cliche, what matters is the way it delivered the story to the reader, whether it was interesting, fascinating, etc.

I also love the two protagonist of the story. Noriko, the female protagonist, may at times be irritating because she calls out her hero all the time to save her but she has more redeeming qualities that more than compensate for her irritating nature.

The story is well put together, from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed reading the romance, adventure, and light fantasy element of the story. It's one of the few adventure mangas I actually enjoyed reading.

This is a very good fantasy shoujo Manga. Even though the story is rather predictable, but it is still very compelling, so you're still wondering what will happen next. Regarding the arts, I always like Hikawa-sensei's artworks, she always draws her heroines in a cute round style and the heroes in a cool sharp style, and strangely, they really complement each others.

Highly recommended!

There's nothing I can complaint about this manga. Many types of travel to another world but I like it best. Noriko is an usual girl, loves cute things, scares of height etc. She is neither a goddess nor a genius. I'm happy to see her change herself little by little.

An Amazing Surprise

At first, I thought it was just another silly fantasy where some fluff girl ends up in another world and instantly falls in love with some handsome warrior--which isn't necessarily bad, but boring--and it actually seemed to start out that way, and with a slightly outdated looking art style to boot. But that was me being prejudiced about older manga and typical shoujo heroines, and boy did this one show me. IT'S BEAUTIFUL. In many ways. The art does start out in an older style but the quality of the drawings and impressions of movement and perspective and variety of characters is outstanding (and that's coming from a picky art major). The romance and main characters seem typical at first but the way their personalities are carried out in story feels fresh and genuine and sweet (I love Izark!! And Noriko really grows on you. She reminds me of Tohru from Fruits Basket) And it's not just the romance. There's great action, mystery, the fantasy world is well thought out and has its own geography and politics (but doesn't get bogged down by it) and the huge amount of characters don't get confusing because the author did such a great job of distinguishing them and giving them all unique and loveable personalities (you even kind of feel for the bad guys, even those you hate for being the jerks they are). She also didn't fall into the common trap of making all the good characters look beautiful. People of all faces can be good guys.

It was sweet, scary, suspenseful, fun, and all around AWESOME. It's got all the things I love in the perfect combination. I really want to own this series now. XD

I always ignored this manga but then I gave it a chance and I was Surprise
I have just complete reading it, I started reading it yesterday and I completed 10 volumes of it and today I read the rest of the volumes.
so you can Imagine how interesting it was, this manga was unlike most of the other manga who tend to be boring in some parts of it.
I really like the feeling I had with this manga Happy,Sad,Anger,Guilty,Fear,Forgiveness, and most of all Love.
I rarely put a comment put I swear if I would complete this manga I would put one so you can say that this manga is one of the very best, even thought I am always concern about the art but this one's art didn't annoy me even thought this one has released before I even was born.

Excellent characters

Probably my favorite part of this series is the characters. I love the leads. Noriko is thrust into a very difficult situation in a place where she doesn't even know the language, but she refuses to allow herself to mope or to become a burden. She's clever and spirited and I simply adore her. Also, Izark has a nice, slow character growth arc that feels believable and makes him very real.

The supporting cast is also pretty neat. Not everyone is unrealistically young and pretty. They're as well developed as time allows, and I found myself rooting for them, especially Gaya.

Overall, the tone is extremely optimistic. It's not for everyone, but it's a good series.

For fans of Immortal Rain, InuYasha, and Red River; I highly suggest this one. The main herione is not annoying, but although a little bland she does just fine. Good fantasy elements, and enough angst without going overboard. Yes it can be cheesy, bit is this not of the shoujo genre? It is to be expected.
