It started out so well, then BAM, the incident at the end of volume 7 is just screwed up. Out of nowhere, didn't fit at all, too depressing... H2 is much much better, read that instead.

It the title of the 4th movie. Please watch the 4th and 5th (Cross Road) movies. They have mature theme, when both Tatsuya and Minami are at college. Honestly, Touch manga is not as good as H2, but the anime was so great, both animation and soundtrack. Give it (the anime) 10/10
PS: still I cant get why some fellows rate it 1 or 2.

one of my favourite adachi so far!!

This is Adachi's first or at least i think first baseball manga and I've seen both H2 and cross game parities in Touch. Even with parities all 3 have, each have there own path/story they follow. In this one the main character is probably the worst out of the 3, in about everything but one . On top of that he also has the hardest obstacle to over come out of the three. In terms of endings i liked this one better the H2 and will have to wait for cross game, but cross game looks like it will be a better ending then this one, hopefully.Comparing all three mangas

If you are into bleach, naruto, one piece, kind of manga, get the hell out of here. You'll have nothing like what you get there on this piece of art.
Instead, you'll get REAL characters with REAL life-styles and REAL fellings.

This is a calm, sensitive manga about everyday life, in a sense, you might compare it's pace to Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou's, although the stories share nothing in common.

I won't spoil a thing except that you should give this a read through if you enjoy literature beyond panty-flashes and killing moves.

This is the first time I actually sat down to read his work and I have to say Adachi Mitsuru can rightly be called a genius. At first when I saw the art the series didn't really appeal to me, being to simplistic and crude and as such I didn't read his series. However, I was surprised to see the depth of the characters as well as the how they grew. There aren't many fillers and the plot moves pretty well and his story has humor that doesn't actually keep on repeating itself. Overall, a well thought out story and though the art isn't anything to die over, you gradually seem to enjoy his simple yet elegant picture though all the characters seem to look alike.

I do enjoy this authors humor, and how he displays his characters.
However, this manga is a bit hard to keep reading for me, I got up pretty high (Volume 17 or so) and just lost complete want to pick it back up. I prefer H2, and Katsu. I can see from his manga just how his stories and abilities have gone up. I like that his manga isn't all about action, and this follows suit.

If this was the first one I read from his, it might be a bit easier to have kept up with, but as its the third or fourth.. I have to put it down and pick at it. I will say, if this book was available in stores, I would still buy it. This author is great; and his particular bit of style is something that sits well with me.

To the comment that gave it a 5, just because you didn't see it coming, and it's depressing, you think it's a bad manga? Maybe that's what the whole story was actually about, giving it a bad rating just because you can't take a twist in the story is just immature.

-- Thats exactly what rating is. Even if it disagrees with you, to bad. If I deem this to be a 1, then I am going to vote 1. I didn't like how the plot went? Boom, points off. If it goes against what you want, then I might feel your immature and voting high just because you like the general amount of the authors books. So, sorry, I am voting this a 6 because I didn't like it much; great how that system works. Love baka-updates.
