Funny and cute, although not outstanding in the genre. The cross-dressing aspect is typical and the characters are somewhat cliched. I still enjoyed the read a lot -- although I wish the story had wrapped up more quickly.
Not the best, but still worth reading.

W Juliet doesn't really stick out to me in the gender bender series. The art is so-so, the reason for the cross-dressing is rather shallow (I personally found it a bit clichéd and unbelievable), and I thought that the romantic aspects of Ito and Makoto's relationship to be a bit hurried. Also, the length of the series is a bit much as any realism the series might have had is lost through ridiculous events. Even with these issues, however, it still comes across as a cute and amusing series. (It has watered-down versions of Ranma 1/2 chapters, if a perspective is needed. While this is amusing to some, it all depends on whether or not the series is supposed to be serious or if it's just a humour thing.)
The final verdict? If you're not new to the gender bender scene (like me), then this will probably be nothing special. I still recommend a perusal of the first few manga, though, since you still might enjoy it. On the other hand, if you're new to the gender bender genre, this is a great series to start with.
(In all honesty, I found Tenshi Ja Nai! to be a more fleshed out version of W Juliet. While it's not completely similar, the characters seem to be given deeper reasons for acting the ways they do, and the romantic plotline is gradually introduced. In short, if you like(d) W Juliet, you will most likely like Tenshi Ja Nai! as well.)

I really loved this manga and I'm sad that I finished it so quickly. However, I hear there is a sequel coming out and it's got me very excited! This is a GREAT series!

This is definitely my favorite manga ever. The characters win at life, and the storyline was always interesting. I would DEFINITELY suggest this to anyone who loves Shoujo manga or Gender Benders. :3

I personally hate shoujo manga... Usually, the girl is extremely annoying, or the guy falls in love with the dumbest girl. This one, however, yes the girl is clumsy, but she's not annoying! I thought it was very addictive! I read the previous volumes many times before I read the new releases. hehe. I even tried not to read until more chapters came out =P And this is actually the shoujo manga that got me reading other shoujo manga (although, I wouldn't say I like them...)

When I was on the first chapter I got confused, I thought that the guy was the short dark haired dude and the girl was the long haired blonde person (on the manga cover) but its the opposite...I'm still like, WTF?! Yeh, I'm not sure if im going to continue reading this series because its going to get on my nerves just by looking at that girl that looks TOTALLY like a boy and that buy who looks TOTALLY like a girl... O.O;
