I'm another one who would preferred the story to stop at the end of volume 2 because it seems to me the perfect point to stop. I dislike what happens in volume 3, seemed to be an unnecessary continuation and the characters simply stopped to behave as themselves. If this story ends at volume 2 I would give a 10 as rating. The way it was developed from that point really made the story loses power.
I must agreed the art is wonderful.

This is a good series, I recommend. The art is beautiful and the story is good. Personally I think the series can end at volume 2, but don't stop there if you did read it. The following volume is dedicated to further development between the brothers and their relationship with each other.

Now, why is my rating a 8. It's because Masato is my favorite character and the way it's developing at volume 3 & 4, I feel like Masato is being tossed away somewhat because Souichirou is more or less the main character (even though all 3 of them are the main focus). I prefer Kaname with Masato.

I will edit my rating once the series is complete and if I will be satisfy with Masato's story and development. Hey, it is personal preferences and rating.

OK, contrary to what another commenter said, this isn't . If you read the story long enough, you'll find out what's going on isn't what you think it is. There's more to all the characters and I love them. Hopefully the series doesn't stretch out too long and turn into idiot shoujo plot syndrome. But for now the three of them all are interesting and unique, and I want to know how their relationships develop.

My personal favourite character is Masato. He seems quite complex, and his emotions are more wrought with helplessness and angst and anger.. He's fantastic in his own, quiet way. I love his interaction with Souichiro and I personally prefer him with Kaname. He might not have reacted in the best possible way, but he did what he thought was right. Love him <3

I love this series, and I think that if people read it through and really thought about it, then they wouldn't give it a low rating because of the whole 'brother x brother' deal. souchiro, masato, and kaname are in no way blood-related. the only implication that there's any connection is souchiro and kaname, who might be very, very, very distantly related--probably like cousins many times removed. really, they're only brothers by law.

It sounded interesting at first before it came to the motif I hate the most Since then the story has sunk deeper and deeper to a very complex yet nonsense plot (perhaps nonsense because it's too complex ) So to readers looking for a simple and passionate manga by this author I would more like to recommend Uchi no Tantei Shirimasen ka or Innocent Bird (or even Dark Water the novel)

I really love this series. The art is just gorgeous and I think the plot is very interesting. Kaname is just so pretty in it that I'm not even joking. Souichiro and him make such a cute couple. 8) Even though at times, I find some parts to be majorly corny, I still like it because it's sweet.

At least, I don't think it's the homophobics giving the 1 ratings. I think it's the anti-non-con crew. Possibly also anti-incest, anti-shota, ... am I missing anything? ;-D
B x B does have some pretty intense moments.

Please if you don' like yaoi/shonen-ai, just don't read it and don't go mess up with the rating. You should know from the beginning that it is a BL manga so simply don't try to read.

Anyway,

This manga is AMAZING!

So for the yaoi or shonen-ai lovers ot for the people who don't mind the genre (like me ^^), this is the manga to read!

Gosh I read so many mangas in my life (I am talking about all genre of mangas) and BrotherXBrother is my FAVORITE. Really wonderful. The artwork is among the most beautiful I have ever seen, the characters are great and the plot is getting more and more interesting.
