its the best manhwa that i've ever read! although i don't like the incest and gayish stuff ancient greek couldn't be apart from those.
if you like history and myth i highly recommend this one

liked the art, the plot was interesting, characters were fine...their development was..and ending...hm.
i recommend this overall, but the ending was not so good.
i mean, the only good thing change at the end was the general's new hairstyle and that prince tyon finally begun to be not so a brat and ahem, not so obsessed with Lamodes...then, in the end, he just reverted back. -_-; like as if the character didn't develop AT ALL! even Matia changed to someone i don't really like...sigh. really different from the stuff i've read and it wasn't boring - i'll give credit for that. there wasn't much romance, quite dark in some parts too. very catchy manga. the ending disappointed me.
its still worth a read though.

Omg, just finished the whole story… the ending was horrible. Maybe because I had been involved with these characters more than usual but I really didn’t expect the end turns out this disappointing. Don’t take me wrong, I have no problem with an open ending in stories but this one was different. All the connections that writer had put between these characters and readers just got loosen at the end without reaching to satisfying conclusion. Despite all the troubles and problems, prince, Matia and general were the same persons at the end… all alone and pitiful inside… What a pity.. I love this story more than I can say but the ending really killed me… *sighs and nods*

I think I would have gotten more into it if the translations were better (online). Some of it I couldn't understand. I like the art though, I found it unusual, and the main character's hair was really cute. At some times I was confused about what was going on, and often could tell the general, paramos, and that other blonde guy apart.
There wasn't anything really amazing about it, but it won't kill you to read it.
I really didn't like the general too much, his character was sort of boring for me. I did like the girl though, she was awesome. ^^
spoiler: is it just me, or does this author seem to like incest or something? o.o;;
The ending was blah, but not the sucky everyone dies thing, so at least it doesn't suck? :]

This started out okay but began to decimate........WAY TOO FAST. Honestly, I thought the general was a right git, personally I would have preferred Matia to end up with the other guy, you know the one that kept her hostage or whatever. Even though, *cough,cough* SPOILER: He ordered his male slave to frikkening make out with him. The general was a prat. Anyways, the politics element was a nice change, you normally don't see it in most shoujos, but you had to read between the lines a lot. When I think about it, I've never read a really awesome manhwa yet, I wonder if someone could recommend a good one for me? All-in-all, an okay read, but I'm most likely gonna delete it off my pc cause I need the disk space.

The MAJOR great job from this author, I came to respect HWANG Mi Ri 'cause of this. One of the best manhwa stories I've ever read ^_^. *deeply touched*

I loved it so much! It's a really great story, and it's really original. I just wish the ending was more satisfying...

I loved it so much i read the hole series in 2 days.
It has nice characters, the plot focuses on all sides of the story (not just the romance aspect)as it follows each character through his development, and the author tries to mix this epic romance a bit of ancient Greace's political turmoil .

the art is a little shady, but it's ok, the plot compensates.

so , all in all, i'd say it's brilliant .

I don't know who could vote worse than an 8! Even though it's highly political, it has a great philosophy. If you understand the theme you'll also understand the end the author chose!

Also it's not a pleasure cruise, but a more serious story about how power over others corrupts people, for example.

@whoever said she should be togheter with the prince... think again, that guy is a sadist and has an unhealthy mind.

not really the best HMR manga i've ever read....the story leaned more to the political side as it develop, and the ending didn't give you the sense of satisfaction or accomplishment, because it didn't explain anything much....
