Not so much

I couldn't really get in to this. The art is nice. Clean and quite expressive. I just couldn't feel anything from the characters though. It felt flat. There is a lot of sex, but I found that to be on the boring side also. Overall pretty cliché. I also found many of the characters to be very unlikable for no real good reason. I don't really care for stories like that, personally.

Unique Personalities

i agree with the others that the 1st volume was rushed but the 2nd and 3rd was great..
the story was typical but what did really stands-out is the characters' personalities.
the uke was a bit sam with the other ukes in other yaoi but the uke here is much sweeter and the seme was so different with the other seme in other yaoi coz he was very sweet, mature yet childish, he seem to be lost without his partner and so much more. so in short the characters was very special. Better read it guys you wont be disappointed but the 1st volume isn't that much promising

Gets way better!

I actually dropped this a couple months back after only reading the first three chapters of volume 1. Though it wasn't bad from the start, it just couldn't hold my interest. I've now come back to reading this, however, and I must say I was an idiot before.

Starting from the continuation of the main couple's story in vol 2, this series just keeps getting better. I figure the first volume was meant to be just your standard mediocre yaoi smut with a pinch of great art mixed in, but with the popularity of the first book the story was developed further. The second volume focuses a lot more attention on character development and the depth of the relationship. The seme, rather than just being the perverted home tutor, turns into a pretty interesting character.

It grows on you! The characters are likeable and I found myself rooting for the couple (even with the lack of drama!) Rintarou and Kaede-san are super cute and the love is fluffy but unpretentious. I loved the themes of possesiveness, jealousy and vulnerability. There's some great comedy in there too and loads of pretty art. I loved the mangaka's style...

My only problem was perhaps the smut driven plot, especially in the beginning, but that's yaoi for ya! All in all, I would definitely recommend this.

It's pretty good...

The whole story started out nice, cliche, but the way it was done was sexy and kind of charming, the art is simply gorgeous (off kilter body proportions put aside), and did have some unique touches... I really looked forward to chapter releases of the first volume. After that though, it lost a lot of its zing, I wish the author expanded on Kaede's cousin's relationship a little more than just dawdling on the main couple's senseless fluff. Though it got a little dull, I was really satisfied with their relationship in the third volume. A lot of yaoi relationships are all based on hyped up passion, and end up pretty flimsy (the author usually depends on see-through drama to keep this couple going) after the honeymoon phase--what not, but I liked how this couple came to understand each other more and ended up pretty comfortable and domestic.

Personally though, I hate possesive/sadistic seme types (Kaede) so that did draw on my enjoyment factor a bit. I think most people don't mind him though. If you are an yaoi addict like me, I would read this one, it's one of the better filler yaoi. Though if you read yaoi sparingly, and only go for the best ones, maybe--maybe not, it's worth a try though. The ongoing tag concerns me though, I wonder what more there is really to say...

Cute, quick read

A classic yaoi. It's sweat and funny without being over the top with comedy or drama. The characters are likable and far more unique and the standard formula couple. And, my favorite part, not annoying angsty back stories. It focuses purely on their (pure fluff) relationship.

Interesting story, but drags on

This is a good manga. It was fun and had a nice story, though not all that original. I do think the main issue is that it just didn't need 3 (+?) volumes to tell the story it did. It seemed to repeat itself and didn't really flesh out the characters all that much. The smut is nice and I do like the story and characters, but I wish the author made better use of the story and actually had things happen instead or rinse and repeating things. There is little conflict and little growth in either character. It's still enjoyable, but nothing I'd want to read more than once.

A pleasurable read

Art: 9/10
Plot: 7/10
Smut: 9/10

The art is so pretty and the smut scenes are so nicely done that I can overlook how the story has more than a few yaoi clichés. Definitely a fun read with all its comedic moments and not too serious plot. Good for eye-candy as well as smexiness XD

Also, I must say that I prefer the 2ne volume because I like how it expands on the main story and shows a bit of relationship development. The first volume had some cute one-shots but I'd rather see more of the main couple.

I also agree that it is a bit cheesy, but I think everyone should give it a read. Though the plot is not too complex, its not annoyingly cute. I really love it, its so sweet ;D

Typical Yaoi

A bit typical, cheesy dialogues, random touching/kissings yaoi. However, the arts totally make up for that. Very clean and detailed arts.
The expressions the characters make are very comical, but very well-drawn as well.
I love the character designs and the way the author draws. Not much plot there, but if you're a sucker for pretty arts, it's definitely worth a read.
