after reading this to ch21, I can say that this DEFINITELY isnt everybody's cup of tea. blood actually. it makes you hold your breath at some parts. toying with your mind. of every principle and every speck of good in your heart. also I wouldnt say that only gore makes it that way. no, the whole picture does. lust, gore, dark religion, twisted images of pureness, people at their weakest moments.. an image of our world without hope in it.
I would imagine this manga as being your first kill. it gets easier the more you kill. less mind blowing. more forgiving. accepted faster. quicker to move on. and eventually turning into something "acceptable", "normal".

let it be your first. 7/10

I heard a friend talking about this manga, and I thought to myself "nah, he's exaggerating - there's no way drawn cartoons can make my stomach twist" well, this manga sure proves me wrong.

it's a bit gorey but it's not completely guro and they do censor a lot of the sex. and the story is engaging tho a bit complicated

i m droppin it down to a 6 cuz i lost total interest in the story. maybe i'll check out the end eventually

This is honestly one of the most enjoyable series I've read recently. I've always been a huge fan of "ero guro," or the erotic grotesque, and this manga more than satisfied me. Initially, I was slack-jawed at the grisly realism of the child abuse -- which doesn't entertain me the way clean, honest gore does -- but the way the "victim" becomes the "hunter" is truly remarkable. The main character's trigger-happy, salacious killing sprees are entertaining and often thought-provoking. What's more, they actually make you care for and respect Little Red Riding Hood, who is on a relentless quest to be united with (and devoured by) the Wolf.

Excellent stuff. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a strong stomach and at least a rudimentary understanding of moral relativism, though.

To think of this sort of thing is unimagineable. Disgusting and disturbing and horrible are words suited to this manga.

It's kind creepy how she's asking to be sexually abused, but it's even creepier that the guys are ugly to look at. X_X Story seems...interesting, to say the least.

I rarely stop a comic/manga due to violence or sex or violent sex, but i bailed out on this one. Like the drwaing style, i didn't read enough to see if the plot started to make sense some time.
Would probably be ( or already is) considerd illegal child pornography in some states.

Totally twisted and seems like it would lack a plot, but after reading the three released volumes, it's truthfully not that bad.

And it's nice to read something different, REALLY different. No girls crying about falling out of love, no girl or boy harems, no robots saving the world, not even amazing tennis prodigies. Oh, and no good-doer vampires either.
Instead, we get a horny immortal child monster who gets rid of bad guys for a living because she's forgotten her past.

And in response to a previous comment, Elfen Lied and Hellsing aren't exactly what I'd consider "gorey." I've seen much worse. Can't make a list since my memory's failing me, but one series does come to mind: Shamo. I think Omanga works on some others, too.

Anyway, with Akazukin, you'd either really hate it or really like it. For me, it's the latter. And it was definitely the comic-relief cat-turned devil boy that got me hooked.
