Too predictable

For me the manga is too predictable. Well at leats in terms of who will win.. At least for me it is obvious that the Ice Queen doesnt have a single chance to win. And the chapters that are centered on her look like pathetic attempts to make one question about the outcome which is miles clear.

Wow, this one really surprised me. Didn't think I'd enjoy it that much. The premise is very simple but execution of characters and their relationships are very well done. If you're looking for a good romance, don't miss this.

Ch.11 was terrific, especially last page XD

I already read until ch 09, well it's quite fun, even I dislike some of the element.

The boy had strange behavior, very strange actually (and a bit annoying) smile, but that's not the main point I wanna share XD.

First volume was very interesting, very promising good story. But I think it's had slow progression since it had only 4 volume, and even in volume 2 I don't know what's the main problem. The story is not as cliche as other romance manga, and with these kind of characters, you hardly predict where this story gonna go.

art - standard, story - captive enough, plot - slow
even though I hardly satisfy by its characters & story progression, but I still like it anyway biggrin

Pleasently Surprised.

I expected a light read initially, since the genre description contained the 'ecchi' tag, I thought it would be good for a few brainless laughs.

Boy was I mistaken..... It's skillfully written. The first volume was absolutely captivating. The narrative style is similar to the author's other work, ToraDora, where everything is explained with the utmost subtlety through the protagonist's thoughts. Many manga/novels use this narrative style, but very few pull it off with such class. It has its comedy moments, but it's by no means a happy sort of manga, and has some sad, poignant moments. It's not the deepest story, but that may be an advantage as it avoids being too convoluted, despite the many unanswered questions that arise at the end of the first volume.

I can't really talk about it too much without giving the plot away, but it points you in the direction that makes you wonder how all the main characters pasts and present are related. The story may seem cliche in the beginning, but by the second or third chapter, I was too absorbed to notice.

Only read the first volume so far, so it could turn out to be a classic or it could crash and burn, but I'm optimistic. Will definitely keep an eye out for this author in future.

Lastly.... notice the lack of shonen or shoujo tags in the genre description. I think fans of both genres will enjoy this.... a lot.

I haven't read a manga in a while that interest me. As the years has rolled by blah blah blah... Anyways this manga starts quite well.. It absorbs me much, I guess the story isn't as cliche as other romance mangas. Truely something to look forward to.

Imo the "Beautiful Ice Queen" is better than the "Mysterious Girl". The scan aren't HQ, I would say in between MQ and HQ, closer towards the HQ border.

- SkyKing xD.....CC and Kallen FTW
