Description

Really overestimated manga. Read the first 30 chapters and dropped it after that because the story shows the same think over and over again. It is too fast-paced so you never get to know the characters either. It was funny as hell in the beginning, but then the jokes kept getting less funny and in the end I found myself not laughing anymore. When I read a manga and feel that it is getting boring, then it means the chapters are not keeping me entertained anymore. And when I keep feeling the same way 5-10 chapters forward and nothing promising seems to come, then I drop it.

I think it's been said before but the best thing about Beelzebub isn't the ridiculously extremely funny humor its got.
It isn't the awesomeness that Oga displays in almost every chapter.
It isn't the awesome baby demon.
The fact that it skips all of the "shounen bullshit" that every shounen has got makes it totally a must read!

This is a good manga, with action, comedy and a good characters. I can't help feeling however that the plot is sadly lacking. I feel as though the mangaka is rushing through things too quickly. I want a more complex plot to develop quickly or I feel as though my interest in this series will fade 
And I say best. It's got everything that a great shonen should have. And more! It has a plot, yes, but that's not enough to erode the wicked humour involved. The characters are awesome, the plot and pacing are just right, and the humour is about the best I've seen around. Every chapter had action and comedy, and together with Baby Beel, this is the best you'll get for shonen.
A must read for ALL manga fans.

Now this is a manga worthy to be praised! It's hilarious! I love baby Beezle and he's just so freaking adorable when he admires Oga (Ogre lmfao) Hilda is so cute! She still thinks he's trash but slowly but surely, he's proving her wrong! This is definitely the manga you're looking for if you're searching for humor. The story is progressing slowly though... I can't wait to read more! I have such high expectations

Lol the blurb really doesn't reveal how AWESOME this manga is. At first, I was hesitant but due to the positive reviews here i checked it out and the rest is history.
This manga is soooo funny, there was always something funny in every chapter. I really recommend it to those who like shounen because this manga is both the cake and the icing.

Really, this manga is so out there yet so funny. While it doesn't have much of a continuing plot it is absolutely hilarious at every turn. Really, between the totally even Oga and his insanely scary faces and Hilda, who is pretty much just as evil except to the baby. The side kick character has to be my favorite though, he seems like a whiney guy at first but ends up replacing his weakness with pure genius, Honestly if you don't give this manga a try you're missing out. Just don't get annoyed with the lack of a main plot.
I thought the premise sounded a bit too weird/corny. So, I didn't want to read it at first. But wouldn't you know it... the weird ones always turn out to be the best. This manga is none stop action + comedy. I can kind of see what the plot will be although there's been very little of it so far. Then again, who really cares as long as they can keep up this level of entertainment? As other poster said, I love the no whiny character part. Simply a badass manga.

No one is ever going to say Beelzebub is the most original manga ever; it is after all a fighting shounen manga. However what Beelzebub does is strip out all the useless, irritating things that come up in shounen mangas. Forget the whiny girls, the talk about friendship and how it's the most important thing in the world. Forget a whiny irritating protagonist and his whiny friends (yes I'm looking at you Rave Master and Naruto). Oga is f***kin kickass, his friend while weak is not annoying and Hilda is actually kind of entertaining. The baby, the physically 'weakest' member of the bunch, is effin awesome.
Currently the manga is at chapter 35 so it's just beginning. The development of the plot should be the mangaka's next step and also more character development. I hope this manga keeps doing well and doesn't fall into the common thing of giving Oga a new power everytime he faces a new opponent.

At first i thought this one is good: great plot, likeable charackters... but after ch. 30 I realised that the story isn´t that great actually it´s not even going anywhere and the charackters aren´t that likeable ... Oga kinda reminds me of the main charackter in "yankee-kun to megane-chan". But I will continue reading "Beelzebub" because
