You need to totally give it a try, you'll only wish you had later on when you come back. The romance is perfect, it goes well with the plot and story without being overwhelming and there is some great character development. It answers and and all questions, some idiot
said it was axed but it isnt. Give it a try, this is one of those keep you up all night readers full of action, drama and magic.

A simply amazing read. I felt that there was a bit much.. flaunting at times, but it didn't really take away from the experience.
Alright. The time travel arc. If you don't want to nitpick to any significant degree, it wasn't sub-par; it just wasn't on-par with the rest of the series.
The story really hit home for me, which is why I give it a 10 (art improves chapter by chapter as well).
I just wish it was longer. Few loose ends/questionable ending.

like most guys say here after the awesome first ark it becomes total nonsense. its turns into one of those crazy Manhwas that has some crazy and twisted storyline (non sexually ofcorse, dont worry its not that f ed up lol) .

p.s loved the male lead in first ark, zero is the best character in manga eva

The story starts off good and then comes the time travelling which drones on and on. Yeah I know that major background plot is revealed in the time travel arc but it was so tedious to get through it. And why are these recent chapters only 22 pages long? That's almost as ridiculous for a monthly comic as Sekirei's measly 16 pages or so. I'm still gonna retain my 9/10 rating for this manga for the moment, but I'm so tempted to drop the rating a few points.

What can i say this story kick ass but ending suck balls first arc was realy cool zero is one of the best characters he is not plain and loves kurohime all the time arc 2 is not bad but it looks like the ending was somehow pushed by author or not cuz it's 17 volumes still i wanted to see more kurohime/zero action together as normal persons not as kurhohime vs zero or smt smile

In the end i give 10 cuz art is realy good Zero is one of the best male characters and kurohime better if u see it yourself smile

I personally really like this manga, the story is very nice, the action is good as well, you continuously ask yourself questions about what will happen, what is the history between those guys, or why is he/she like that and so on, and at some times its really funny...my favorite chapter is 16...that part is kinda sad though, but it really touched me!
I sincerely recommend you read this manga!

I love this manga and the characters, the story is pretty good and when kurohime is little is so cute smile
I can't wait to see the next chapter, so the only bad thing is that the release of it is very very slow. I cheer Genesis to go fast with it^^

I'm really surprised how something that can hook you so well can lose you again. The beginning of this story is pretty typical battle shounen, even down to the slapstick. Stick with it enough and characters become likeable and a decent real story develops. With the addition of a time travel plot (which in my experiences rarely are done well) the plot starts to get a bit too clustered and falls apart. The ending felt abrupt; certain elements that I felt we're central were just hand waved away. Quite a few plot holes, and it's not just the the time travelling stuff.
The setting was super cool, but not very detailed. Magical wild west, small little Japanese like towns, and a bit of catsles with medieval space marines. All of this under a paragon of jerk gods. More fleshing out and it could have carried the manga itself.
The main heroine is an unbearable bratty joke character at the begining. She easily becomes a favourite later on. In order to finish the story she mostly just played as the lovestruck teenager. Zero (male protagonist) becomes a really neat character that seems pretty deep, maybe a bit too angsty for some people though. Not a fan of comedic relief characters, but was glad that they were sidelined a good bit when the story got more serious. A lot of characters didn't get enough screen time to really be appreciated, too much was happening and they took a backseat.
Art is not bad at all. Nice full page and two page panels that have a decent amount of detail. Not a huge fan of the long slender bodies, but it's done well enough too not hate it. Character designs are pretty neat too. Some of the gods looked really cool. Action scenes were paced very well.
I'd give this pass honestly, but I really can't say it was bad at all. It takes a while to get going and once you get a real good sense that the build up was worth it slowly goes back down again to just and alright finish.
