Honestly with all the high ratings i expected a bit more than this...in other words, its definitely overrated. Personally i LOVE the manhwa style of art so i don't mind any part of it. But the plot line is FAR TOO similar with the other ones. I could practically see all the misunderstandings and predict what was gonna happen next. The characters were the same as in hot blooded woman. No diversity. -__-
I liked hot blooded woman. But if you've read that, then this might be a bit 'blah' for you. It got kinda boring for me...

its an ok read..the dude is a bit weird..really dense, and sometimes annoying...but a good read nonetheles...I stopped at V5 just b/c it started to bore me a bit..Ill come back to this when I run out of things to read.

well this manga end so bad xD I ecpected more cuter than this.. but anyway I don't really care how this story end, i just like to see how the character are so cute when they are in love xD

I agree that HWR's manwha are almost familar, but it was what i just like about he manwhas! well like Hot Blooded Woman's and Love Sos's main character are both weird and like to fight, but I like to see how the same character do in differents manga! Hot Blooded Woman is my first manga of HWR and I love Hot Blooded Woman and Cutie Boy is good to ^^ but anyway I'll recomendate this manwha for ppl who haven't read manwha by HWR xD

Sure, HMR is the queen of unique endings. To be honest, I already read Legend of Nereid, Imitation Love, Hot Blooded Woman by her and so far I like Legend of Nereid best. She just has a way with suspenseful historical plots and politics. The "gang" theme is already overused in my opinion. Even Legend of Nereid ended with the main couple separated. But I still liked it. Why? The story telling made up for a "not so happy ending". If the story has had no depth I would have liked her to marry him of course ;)

I have to agree that her HMR's works usually have terrible endings...
though honestly this one is not too terribly bad... it's still bad though, lol

It was a good and funny read... though predictable with overused jokes..
The story and character's were cute... I was hoping for more character development on Yoo-min's part... (the side-characters seemed to get more character development.. which was weird..)

A bit violent/vulgar at times... but what more can you expect from gang-type mangas.. or rather manwhas..

This manhwa is one of may favorite. The first to volumes were not so good and I really considered to put it down and I'm realy glad I didn't. The story is really funny and cute. The art is not really to my liking but in this one instance it doesn't matter...
I can only recommend it to everyone!!

I am a fan of all of HMR's works, and this is one of my faves!! It is SO funny!! Its a suspenseful and a light-hearted read that I definitely would recommend.

Edit: I think some of the reviews here are looking too much into the story....this story is more of slapstick humor than dramatic soap opera. Some parts of the story are ridiculous, but thats the humor to it (for me, at least, I found hilarious).

I just finished the first volume and it wasn't that bad... however, I have a bad memory of HMR's stories from before. she always starts a story very good but finishes it so crappy that you may wish to shoot her for this mess that she makes out of a lovely plot line, like what happened at the end of the "Legend of Nereid".

I still hope it gets better after a few volumes. so far the story is a typical Shoujo style and nothing very special but reading it is kind of fun and easy. so if you have some free time and nothing to read, I suggest you give it a try.

the first couple volumes turned me off because of the typical "male dominates female" theme. it seemed that story was gonna turn out to be unoriginal and boooring.
but...
after volume 4 or 5 (i think)
when the female lead stops being a complete wimp, i started to like it!!

At times the art can seem out-dated, but overall its usually very pleasing to the eye!!

Just like any Hwang Mi Ri series, the plotlines are over the top, the characters are overstated and brought close to the point of being caricatures, and the art is iffy. BUT, despite all of this, Cutie Boy is an interesting read. If you liked 'Hot Blooded Woman', than you'll like this.
