Ludwig Kakumei is one of my favourite mangas by Kaori Yuki. As for the genres, it's a very complex manga: mixture of comedy, horror, drama and fantasy in Grimm style. The stories are sometimes gross but there's a source of humor in every chapter and the drawing style is awesome as expected from Kaori Yuki. As for the ending, I'm very curious because I doubt that there's a girl in the world of the tales who is much to Ludwig's taste and neither an evil person nor an idiot.

This story is defiantly a thriller! I love how it's such a mix with fairytales and I love Prince Ludwig and his personality! The story is very detailed in it's thoughts too. It's packed with horror, fantasy, romance, and is sooooo funny! Love the comedy in it. It's an excellent way to the see prince find his girl throughout all of them

Anyhow, moving on, I highly recommend this piece! It's one of Kaori Yuki's most lighthearted works I've ever encountered. A nice approach to something a little more different from her usual darker works. This series begins rather caliginously and grows into something, well, I could say.. cute, even! Comidical actually. However, despite the more brightened atmosphere, each arc still ends with some lingering eeriness.. which I personally find very intriguing.

And as always, once again has a Kaori Yuki masterpiece leave a lingering sentiment in me.

Well, I kinda want to read it, but... ugh... from what I know, there's pretty much no real romance in it. There's this guy looking for a wife and... well... that's just it. No actual heroine and romance. But, then again, the summary is interesting. I don't know. Maybe I should read it... but I'm not sure. Ugh. Whatever.

Art is top-notch, everyone said so.

What everyone failed to praise to high heaven is other factors of this manga: Storyline, character development and tiny details.

Dont get discouraged from the first 2 chapters. Those are a bit "hit on the face" style. The later chapters developed much nicely, they always made me wonder what the "Snow White" chapter is all about.

i really like this.it's funny and creepy at the same time.then the love in it.although it's kinda hard to see who he loves and who he just likes cuz of their bust size.if only sleeping beauty didn't die,then he'd get his perfect queen.

the artwork is splendid, and excepting the odd sounding summary, the story line is absolutely hilarious, the fairy tales marvelously displayed. i would recommend this lovely cynical story to anyone who loves the unique and thought full stuff! ^_^

as far as I have read at this point I love it, the art and the modifications of the fairy tales. But at this point I have yet to see a "real" coherrent story in this. But maybe it will improve in the following volumes.

started out confusing but once i got used to the style of art/story, it has completely pulled me in. it's an odd mix of fairy tales, humor, goth, action, romance and achronisms.
