A good read indeed

Well I must say at first I never thought I would read this but it was actually great! Really interesting, i want more if it. I realize that the plot does shift a lot now that I look back. The opening storyline is completely different than how it is in recent chapters and you see certain characters lesser and lesser (though they aren't really important ones so its fine). The feel of the story was great and consistant - changes were happening but it didnt make things worse or leave room for questions. The characters actions, emotions and reasoning for things seemed logical throughout the story. It's good to see characters that are realistic or at least have common sense. It gets a tad confusing towards the end but the plot is still good and not too crazy. It is a little melancholic but I liked that it wasn't just a shoujo that just jumped from conflict to easy happy ending. Also I felt it wasn't drenched in cliche themes (though realistically, all stories have some)

OVERALL:
Interesting
Well rounded main characters
Good shifting plot

I F**CKING LOOVE THIS OMG !! I'VE NEVER BEEN SOOOOO OBSESSED SOMEBODY HELP ME IT'S TOO HARD LETTING THIS GOOOO! OMG THIS IS THE BEST THERE I'VE SAID IT NOTHING CAN COMPARE ! I never thought I would like this and I don't usually post upbeat comments like this but gosh this manga is amazing , lele the heroine is not annoying and I really fell like I know her and Angus and EROS woow !! , I never thought id like them cuz of there long hair but they are greeat .there was a period where lele wasn't happy but she soon changed back immediately so dw and yeah the romance does slightly take a back sit but trust me not in a bad way that affects the plot . I'm now on 79 and i was so worried becuz of the reviews saying that layer chapters suck but Wttf noo I'm not seeing that I'm being series this is amazing I actually can't find the way to describe it I just am amazed at the real depth and work put in this you get to know each and every character and it feels soo real, I'm actually upset that I'm now going to have to wait ages for more chapters and not knowing weather the outcomes gonna be good and I'm afraid I may lose interest after a long period of time like other manga and it will feel weird but I just can't wait for more I never would of thought that this would turn out to be the best manga (manga ,manhua ,meh) I've ever read ons woow the ending on chapter 79 :00 anyway just give it a try trust me.!! Oh and the arts great hehe!

EDIT: erm oh wow this reviews a little creepy... I haven't read this since and only 2 chapters have been released ...tbh, I don't think I can get into this anymore, its a sane but meh the mangaka or watever shouldn't of taken so freakin long, if you wanna read this, my advice is to wait until its completed :/ The one is still great though, I may have matured some more by the time this finishes and that's just depressing enough, its a shame but meh, So long The One .

This is pretty different from Nicky Lee's previous works. I love how her art has evolved, and I like that there's a lot more character development in this manga. I actually like how romance takes a backseat, it's quite believable given Eros' character and past. It also elevates the manga to be more than a simple love story.

However, the story falters in the later chapters, and recent developments feel really contrived as the tone of the story shifts back and forth from tragic and disturbing to light and fluffy, even within the same chapter.

Will write more at a later date smile

This manhua is truly a masterpiece. The drawings are gorgeous and the characters are portrayed in a very realistic way, you can guess their personality just by looking at them. Every character in this manhua does not disappoint, all of them having a more or less sad background and a side that sometimes makes you admire them. I persoanly like Lele, even though at the beginning her clumsy and carefree persoanlity was something refreshing, once she started to chase certain goals she became a real model, not only a fashion model, but a life model as well. However this manhwa teaches an important lesson, you can't do everything by yourself, eveyone has to rely on somebody at least once. However, typical for all shoujo works, this one maintains its own cliches. I would rather place this one between the josei and shoujo border since it has elements from both sides. The only thing i hate is the slow romance development, oh boy this element might make this manhua go downhill but i think that with more encounters the relationships will deepen.

Realistic, contemporan, intriguing, thought-provoking, humorous, dramatic (when it needs to be), this is what describes The One. It is really refreshing to watch characters carry out their dreams going all out just to achieve their goals because in my opinion, only strong people can chase and fulfill their dreams.

What i can say is, lots of gays lol! Personally I'm alright with it, but what's with all the guys there falling in love with the twins man? What happen to the lead? I was expecting it to be like skip beat, two guys chasing one girl.

I can't deny that I like this manhua, but when the author brought in Sweden I got a little ticked off and took a break from reading it. It's like she just borrowed the name and looks from the country and then made the rest up to match the story.

Ah, but really, don't mind me. I'm just a bit sensitive when it comes to things like this.

I LOVE this manga!! It is one of my favorite things I've read so far (and I've read a lot of manga).. I saw this a long time ago and decided not to read it but recently saw it on here and I'm Sooo happy I read it.. I kno its a long manga and is still going but I'm happy its still going I hate it when mangas seem cut short and the ending is bad (or if rushed). And although their are a ot of chapters there's usually only about 30pgs each chapter). As I read I totally seen parts of nana and skip beat and even a little of crimson hero (bc lele had a little bit of a tom boyish style). All in all I would recommend pple to read it. I can't wait till the rest of the chapters come out, I really want to see what happens to all the characters!!

This series is really great! At first I was hesitating to read it because I don't usually read manhuas but then I was bored so I started reading it. It turned out really interesting and I'm really glad that I read it and I'm really looking forward to more releases.

Another fantastic manga that's been dragged on too long, gone off on a completely different tangent and tried to incorporate too many 'popular' themes in one hit. The first 50 chapters or so are deep and moving, but later chapters are really just fillers and not worth anyone's time.
