This is one of the rare breeds of weird ecchi manga that had the ecchi moments wisely woven with the plot. It's not one of those generics where the ecchi scenes are "accidents" or the heroines assaulting the main character. The main character had to earn those ecchi moments and makes the reader almost as relieved as he succeeds. I kinda admire any guy who could hold it and stay as honest as main character. LOL.

If you liked Nana to Kaoru or Onani Master Kurosowa, then this is a definite must read.

The best thing you can say about this manga is that it's different. The relationship between the male and female lead is dynamic, but the development is so slow and painfully obvious that you wonder whether the manga will end before their arc even reaches the climax. Granted, given the title, if the author purposely planned this in conjunction with the major theme throughout the manga then I'd have to say he's a genius and revise my rating to 10/10, but I doubt it.

In relation to the tragedy part:


However I still give it a high rating because while I do think the author could have done so much more with his characters, the manga is well written, genuinely funny, aesthetically pleasing, with likable, believable, and memorable characters.

You will finish reading this manga with a sweet taste in your mouth as you remember all the great moments and perhaps go back and re-read some of those great moments but there will be a lingering bitter aftertaste as you realize the lost potential it had.

it was a great manga, extremely pervy at times, but still good... as others have said before me, the ending is extremely confusing... i have no idea what happened ... i still recommend it to all though

look past the sexuality and notice that it has a reason to be there. I'd say if you liked NHK you will like this as long as you don't mind something i'd call "mature ecchi" genre. It's not your idiotic guy with a harem and boobs and panty shots all over the place without any point to it. I must say i agree with every word of Laclongquan. You either love it or hate it, or maybe some ppl would notice the meaning behind, but wouldn't like sexuality so they would agree it's good, but just not their cup of tea.

the art is shit in general but the sexy parts a very well drawn, Scenario is not bad and the humor is sometimes pretty good, but I would still give out a warning for my fellow (spoiler ahead) ntrphobics, a big part of the intrigue is:

well the manga is really great coz it leaves a very long lasting impact on the reader......but honestly not the kind of ending one might expect.....and may be it the because of this confusion....we end feeling the way we feel.....

The ending of sundome could be stronger, it is sad but it does not move me to tears. All the story long i thought the end of this manga will be great it will make me cry but...

At first the surface will show the typical standard character, wimpy and weak in this case. But as you read on and see the facial expression on how he structure it with the moment as well what they put. Really embracing moments occurs. Its like a girl who doing her homework require a dictionary and in order to understand that she uses a child dictionary to understand it. Quite a "blow"

Well.... I read the first volume and gave up.

I'm not into stories where the main character is a useless pansy....and when it comes to useless, the guy in this one takes the cake. All the sexual references are a bit morbid.

It's one of those manga that makes you pissed off as you read it. Nothing else to say, really.
