Description
Randou Masashi, a self-centered, brash karate star, was the victim of a horrific bus accident that left him comatose, his face terribly disfigured by extensive burns.
Genius plastic surgeon Dr. Manabe saved Randou's life and went to work on his face, gradually reconstructing it based on a photograph found in the wreckage of the bus. But in a cruel twist of fate, the photo that the doctor used as his reference was not a picture of Randou, but of Rina Kurimi, the girl whom Randou has a crush on!

ending was teh suck, would've been 10 in my book
Great art, unique story, hilarious jokes, this is one of those manga gems that often go unnoticed, but if you find this you should definetly give this series a try.

Too bad the ending was rushed due to problems with the magazine... it could've developed into something really great. It's still a good read. Anyways, I heard that Akatsuki Manga is -still- working on Chapter 53, so I'm looking forward to read it (I heard it's over 50 pages long - not sure, though).
i've seen far worst endings...
For me, the 1st chapter was a real turn-off; i abandoned the series for a while...found the complete set recently and finished it in a day...way better than Futaba-kun Change...interesting and fun stories...

It´s a pity the author get bored so soon ... the ending is not so bad as you think, guys. The fact is that it must get finished fast. Ok, let´s see... how many manga you have read that finished ok? Not many... And perhaps they finished worse than Pretty face. Think about it: you need to finish the manga, but leaving it open in the case in near future you will continue whit it. Now add boredom and a plot that not gives you enough option for a quick end. WOW... the manga is not so bad... isn`t it??

A solid series that's fun at times, but really nothing special at all. If you're into this type of shounen-comedy it's worth a read.
a very funny manga. absolutely hilarious at times. however, the ending SUCKS.
