Strange and original story... Quite old styled artworks, but ok anyway. Read it for the mood !

The series has a style (art and narration) similar to Eternal Sabbath. The pacing is definite a bit faster. At first I saw "shounen" story elements, in the main character's newfound ability/powers, but no, they're not glorified. Battles are engaging; they're not deus ex machina like you'd see in a fighter, they're well-done. And the overall story stays focused and relevant even with multiple plotlines. Themes are mostly moral/interpersonal. In addition to the genres MU lists, there's also a bit Romance, School Life, Tragedy, and Drama.

Whether you're intrigued by philosophical question like, "What does it mean to be human?" and "What does it mean to be non-human?" and morality related thereto, or appreciate the well-crafted science fiction of the storyline, or enjoy the intensity of the fights, or care about the characters and their families and lovers, I don't know, but I highly recommend this series.

It scared the hell out of me... Makes me paranoid actually... It's a good manga... Ended a little abruptly though but it's still all good... I love the gory, bloody scenes...

This manga has a really unique feel to it. I really enjoyed that its one of those mangas that have at least a bit common sense. ^^
Its sad the manga ends so fast, but the more you chew on a topic, the more easily it becomes boring, unrealistic, or predictable.
For people who get a kick of artwork: Its not really great. But you will get to like it by time.

This is one of the most interesting manga I have ever read. Thou I wish it was some what longer since the ending seemed a bit too sudden for me be but nonetheless this is definitely worth reading.

Comparable to "Gyo"'s philosophies of humans fusing with micro organisms.

Except, this is far better.

the whole ideology.. sucked me in. it is great. interesting how perception and opinion of something can change after a night of reading.

its a great series. kind of annoying however that they stopped scanlating with only under 5 chaps left. the scanlation teams need to work onn projects like this, not everyone doing naruto and bleach. ramblings aside, its a great series, thatll keep u on ur toes. once u start reading, youll be in for a surprise, and expect a few twists along the way

At first I thought that the plot sounded silly -- an alien living in a guy's hand? -- but seriously, this is very cool and makes you think about how fictional the idea of a universal morality really is. The comparisons between an alien culture and human psychology are just beyond awesome. Not to mention that the central character's eventual change -- both in outlook and in biology -- is so powerful and personal. Very gripping, fast-paced and well-written! Don't miss this manga.

This is good shit. Can't describe it much better than the other comments or the description, but it's fun and involving. The alien vs human relationships are very interesting, imo. I love it.

Just wish they'd finish scanlating it now.
