Orange is a truly amazing and unique manga that pulls at your heartstrings.
It stands out among the many slice of life shoujo manga out there.
It's a beautiful bittersweet story that has the presence of tragedy.

I was sucked into this story right from chapter one, and I highly recommend others to give this a shot.
Being told that Kakeru dies 10 years into the future leaves readers anxious as they read on. Naho, although is quite shy and (cowardly?) - she slowly changes things as she realizes her feelings for Kakeru and the foreboding consequences if she doesn't straighten up.

This idea of paralleled worlds and in essences "time travel" with letters that Future Naho sends to Present Naho really adds to the uniqueness of Orange.
I am truly amazed with this story.

Orange (also known as "The days you were there and my Future") is an amazing manga that has:
- Amazing art
- Solid plot
- Interesting characters
Nowadays its rare to find a manga that keeps you glued to every chapter.
This is really good.

While reading this manga, I'm always look forward to what the next letter gonna write about. Whenever Naho followed the letter and made Kakeru happy, I get this really good feeling. I hope Kakeru lives and marry Naho

I love love looooove this manga...never in my life have I read something like this. High school/teen life manga usually revolve around school life/puppy love, jealousy, comedy, gender bender, harem and what not..but this is nice and mellow....and it's JUST the right type of melodrama..(unlike Sprout..oh dear that manga made my emotions and head feel like it was in a tornado/rollercoaster.. it was too dramatic :<)
at first, I wish Naho would be more brave and not second guess herself.. but slowly, she's changing
It makes me really sad during Chapter 5 where the professor talked about parallel universes and how even if you change the past, you can't change the future. You can only make the present better..
I teared up in almost every chapter.. I'm anticipating for future releases!

Touching, poignant, nostalgic - just absolutely beautiful. Takano Ichigo does a great job of setting the tone and pace for this manga. As a reader you feel like you can connect with the heroine of the story because you've been in her shoes and have acted the way she has in one way or another. A great job of storytelling and I'm excited to see what will happen next!

This series is amazing. I feel so touched at times, teary and I honestly have no idea what's going to happen at the end. I really hope it's not a sad ending, but I highly doubt it won't be... There's just so many feelings going through me when I read this manga!! TOTALLY RECOMMENDED /10

Edit: ALL THESE FEELS FROM EVERY CHAPTER~~ I LOVE IT. I cried a river at chapter 8. Oh. My. God.

one of a kind...

at first, it doesn't seem like it...at first it's like kimi ni todoke...only with a "what if" situation...

it's sorta like the "lake house" but since it's not done yet, I'm just hoping for a happy ending...



Since the series starts when Naho is 16 (Kakeru can't be older than her by 2 years?) it will either be the longest/slowest series that progresses into the event (the reason to change the past) or...it will have a different arc(?) and end maybe when the characters (all of them) are 22...

sometimes i wish the girl naho were a little bit more strong, but...she's doing what she can...and it ends kind of pretty; I think it won't be a long one, but every chapters makes me go like: awww,

the fact that one little thing can change the future, reminds me of butterfly effect....can't relate to the girl because I try to do things my own way,, without regret.. but it just has the pretty sense (the story)

This is such a great read! For some reason my heart was beating fast the entire time I was reading it and even though I've only read four chapters I love it! The main characters are pretty likeable and it's nice to see Naho change and get more courage. Her getting the letter from the future is really interesting too and I wonder how exactly the future will be changed cuz of that. I can't wait for the next chapter!! I'm scared and excited at the same time!

Just read the first 4 chapters and I can tell by now that this is a great work!
If you read this, ou get so man feelings yourself while reading: happiness, sorrow, worr, hope...
It's all in this manga.
This story has a very appealing atmosphere and the way of transporting all the feelings and thoughts to the reader are made perfectly.

I'm totally following this one...!
