I only though about GTO in a certain chapter. This manga is heading in a martial arts way and it's a fun read if you like shounen and training and fighting.

Usually I don't read this genre, but this is just one kickass manhwa. I enjoyed every single part of it.
Art is so damn amazing, action kept me glued all the time, characters and their development is stunning and plot is interesting that it made me want more and more.
I'm giving it a 10 because it doesn't deserve any less ,RESPECT ;D
You won't be making mistake by giving this one a try, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did

For those that are saying that shion's growth was to quick, you did not understand the story. Yes, he did get the ability to manifest a great amount of power quickly; however, he was still very weak, because he was unable to execute it currently. He missed every shot he took against every opponent.
Anyways, loved the series, it's a pity that the hard copy is not available in english

I'm not a shounen fan , Indeed if I have to tell the truth is the gender I like th least, so I ca still believe how much I like this manhwa and how I can't wait for more. I expect this to give yu a clue of how wonderful is.
Doh, droped the reality.

One thing that annoys me is how he had an easy ride to becoming strong. Annoys me. I liked how his will to get stronger made him start running and doing some conditioning. Not only because thats an amazing thing for a person to do, but the fact that, that can happen in reality. But then they gave him a the drug and he gained a bunch of power out of no where. But i guess thats to be expected from a manga. As far as storyline and images, i give a 8.5. Probably should be higher.
Definetly a good read. Havent finished it though.

Well seeing as I have yet to read a manwha that dissapoints this is no exception. This is a great story, while the Lead is a bit annoying at the start he becomes a total bad ass later on. This char is super Gar ^.^ just the way I like em.

Not rating this because it has literally been a decade since i read this manhwa and i barely remember anything except the context surrounding it.
The setting is actually pretty good, who knew we would barely develop past this even after a decade but, "martial society hiding in the modern world and the MC gets thrown into it because of chance encounters" is actually not bad.
The art was stellar. Actually, it still holds its own against the modern ones. Hell, i think some of the peak art is found in pornhwas which literally go all-out on the sheer detail but this is comparable to even that. The action scenes have weight, they aren't surface level like most of the other manhwa have become.
This series will always have a bit of nostalgic value attached to it now. I remember completing it and being absolutely hooked on continuing to the sequel, which kept getting delayed, and delayed, and oh the author's working on something else so more delays, and now its 10+ years later and just now the third season of this series is starting.
I plan to re read it one day but, well, not now.
Regardless of how good it actually is on a critical view, it'll always have a place in my heart for what it meant to me, for it introduced me to this genre a decade ago and i'm still loving every moment of it.

at first i thought it's similar to GTO too.. pervert teacher that saves his student from suicide. but after reading chapter 3 i think it's not the same as GTO anymore since there's a hidden motive to why he became a teacher unlike onizuka who's ambition is to become a teacher.
overall i like the artwork, as for the storyline i can't comment much bout it coz it's not going anywhere yet but i have high hopes for it ^^ i'm sure it will be more interesting from now onwards

Not gonna lie and say Shioon's character "growth" wasn't fast, but at the right pace. No. He literally became a monster overnight with just a small pill. I would've preferred if he became stronger via actually working hard. (Not that he didn't, but that first growth spurt was too... instantaneous).
Anyway, unlike some of the other commentators, I actually enjoyed this manga and is currently enjoying the second season. The plot is actually INTERESTING and gets even more interesting in the second season. Shioon, surprisingly, actually grows personality-wise. He becomes more... strong-minded and stops crying every time he gets beat up.

i hope people will stop making comparison between this and GTO especially whereby the begining of the story is concerned.
If a comparison to be made this is more along the lines of veristas.
The manga has a nice art, wimpy protagonist(but not unlikeable as later chapter he grows some backbone), cool martial arts teacher and alot of other secrets to be revealed. Nonetheless when reading this you have to bare in mind that its a shounen so it has all the goodies and flaws of a shounen manga.
As for me its worth the read, thanx to kmts for the release and ill continue waiting for newer chapters
