The development of this manga to me is good and the characters are unique. I love how the stories really connect to reality. All those falling in love and all really make the story more complicated but fun to read. I like how Hinako - sensei let a homophobic one in her game and turned out to be an Uke =D

A lot of people are saying don't read this because it's predicable and because Senpai get rape by morinaga. Well guess what. That only happens in vol 1 and only 1 time. I really enjoy reading this because the author always delivers what i want and throughput the series, their relationship just kerps getting better and better with the orinfal charavter from changllers and full of comdey that you can't help but laugh and find it adorble. Also the fact that it hard to guess who's the seme or the uke is amazing as well. I wasn't going to read this after i read chanllgers but after i saw the ova i fell in love with this. Give this a shot! one of the Best yaoi ever!

I first saw the OAV of this and I was hooked. There's just something about Souichi's reluctance towards Morinaga that tugs my heartstrings. The love-hate tsundere relationship is very cute, but it gets gradually erotic!

The characters are drawn beautifully as well! When I first saw it, I didn't know it was yaoi as it doesn't have the typical look of a yaoi (which I'm not very fond of anyway).

As much as I love the yaoi scenes, it's the storyline that gets me as well. There are soooo many sweet scenes that you can't help but love them! If you're put off by the pseudo rape at the beginning (and to be honest, the later ones too. bigrazz Souichi, you're so dishonest!), you'll be surprised at how sorry you actually feel for Morinaga instead.

This was one of the first yaoi I've ever read (years ago) and despite many attempts at catching up to the story ever since, I have never been able to read this story without giving up eventually. It's just completely unrealistic, the way they act and on top of that their relationship is completely unhealthy. Many people have been over the reasons why, so I won't go over that.Takanaga Hinako is a talented mangaka, the manga isn't bad, not really. If you can get over the flaws and attitudes of the characters, you will probably enjoy the series a lot. If you can't (like me), or if you dislike reading stories with rape (like me...) then you're better off staying away from this manga.

Well, this manga does have some moral flaws - but only in the beginning, really (I've read all 8 volumes). But well, I've read a lot of yaoi and I've read a lot of yaoi stories that have been far more morally twisted, this is fluffy stuff compared to that, imo. Pop-rape, if I have to give it a term. And well, the only time there actually occurs rape is @spoiler: in the first volume. Afterwards it's just forceful sexual intercourse, haha.

The moral aspect put aside, this is an enjoyable yaoi-read. Yes, there are plenty of clichés, plenty of (fairly forceful) sex scenes and plenty of obvious twists, but that doesn't change the fact that I didn't get bored while reading this - at all. Maybe I have a little fetish for forceful semes, but I kind of have the feeling that most yaoi fan girls like that. bigrazz Then it's just a bonus that the uke is a violent nut head.

I actually ended up dropping Challengers (the prequel), because I disliked Tomoe, and therefore I hesitated with reading this, since I missed out on some of the plot from the prequel, but if you're in the same situation fear not - just read this. It's easy to follow the plot anyways.

An enjoyable yaoi read, not perfect, but entertaining if you don't take it too seriously. Just enjoy the ride.

Well, i decided to read this manga because of the overwhelming high ratings, however after reading up to the latest chapter, I think this manga is over rated. Its an alright manga, but its very shoujo and repetitive. I also don't like the forced sex thing and...so much sex, sex, sex, repetition in a circle. For some reason i find the constant narration and thought bubbles from Morinaga irritating. The character himself is flat and annoying. The story's pace is extremely slow(a warning) but its starting to make some progress finally, after 7 volumes?! I do appreciate how there isn't some girly uke in it.The couple reminds me of Junjou Romantica, so if you liked that manga, you'll probably enjoy this.

This manga.. This manga is my absouloute favorite Yaoi manga of all time. It's one of those Mangas where my heart throbs everytime something depressing happens. I love that feeling. I like the fact that Hinako-Sensei makes the story like a rollar coaster. Ya never know what's going to happen. This manga is definetly reccomended by 1000.

What the hell... Morinaga raped Souichi, but Souichi himself abuse Morinaga all the time. Wonder why this book is called FICTION. It's not something that you guys really should take so damn seriously.

Takanaga is doing just awesome work with her characters in these series. Just awesome. I know something about creating fictional characters and it's not so easy to get many-sided, personal characters just out of own mind. Well, she really did that. I adore her for that one. Like that's not enough, dialogue too is really good written and fun to read. These series are really the best.

Rape = to force (someone) to have sex against their will
I'm kinda amazed and disturbed at the number of people who don't think this manga has rape. This is a good manga and kinda like it. But damn people, rape is still rape. >.>
As I read this manga, it goes like this, "I realize I really love you, so I'm actually gonna ask for your permission before i f*ck you". I thought people are always supposed to ask for consent. But I guess as long as it's love, who cares about the other person' s free will right? *sarcasm
