well its been a while since i finished this series but im reading it again cuz its pretty much my favorite romance manga EVER!!! loved the story although the protaganist was a bit of a ... well lets just say he was borderline retarded with his indicicivness. the eechi moments came all at the right time and helped make it more enticing.

when i started it the first time i wouldnt have believed anyone about the ending until towards the very end and i love it even more for the heart warming realistic ending and i could say much much more about how good it was but i'll just say this

READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the best thing about this manga is that you can't even begin to describe the qualities that make it so great
all you can really do is read it and let the story grab onto your heart.. then at the end you'll understand how powerful it was through your emotions

many elements of the plot moved me... but by far, the most impressive part of this manga is the ending.... it probably has the best resolution ever created for a graphic novel

some faults still lay in it, like the overuse of cliche ecchi scenes..
(the occurrence of them is scarce compared to other romance mangas like to-LOVE-ru and Love Hina)
however.. the unique and touching plot completely covers up these trifle mistakes, which is why I give this series a perfect 10

First time I downloaded the first volume, after previously, have read Love Hina, I personally did NOT like the art, obviously, after reading the first chapter, I tired of it, and didn't come back to it, for possibly, a year. When coming back, and by the time, I had read MANY other mangas, and watched a few animes, but Ichigo 100% definetely struck me, and made me read it to the end. Ah, the suspense, it's quite a feeling.

The overall point of this story, I would DEFINETELY give a 10/10. This is one of the most interesting mangas in it's genres. Ah, contrast it to Love Hina, definetly worthy rival, and Ichigo 100% definetely differed, in character basis, and storyline, as the female did not always attack the protagonist every time he peeked, ah, it was quite the different manga.

The art itself, I said at first, I did NOT enjoy it, it, revolted me, unfortunately at first, but I grew used to it, (Anyone read Elfen lied? The Art is quite a shame) and I think it definetely deserves a 10, I've even bothered to continue other series done byKawashita, such as Hatsukoi Limited ( which I read recently, which I defeinetley suggest to be read ).

The ending, an excellent end, but nonetheless, the girl that Junpei choose could definetely be debated. It is unfortunate he chose the girl that the did (read the manga if you want to know who) because I much like the other. I mean, obviously she was a VERY important character, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Also, there IS a fan-made special chapter where Junpei chooses the other girl, to give the satisfaction to all those people who disagreed with his choice. And because of the girl he choose, I can only give it a 8.5/10 for ending.

Overall, this manga deserves to be read, and it definetly deserved a 10.

One question, there are at least 67 votes for 1/10 for Ichigo 100%. If you guys who voted one, ask yourself this, if you didn't like the genre, why on earth did you bother to read it? Or, if you voted one because of the ending, how about you give it a reasonable score?

Good Shounen Romance

Never actually wrote a review for this one (although I did talk about the ending numerous times), even though I did finish reading it at least half a year ago. Personally, I really enjoyed this manga. Which is why I'm surprised by the rating. Maybe I never payed attention until now, but I don't remember it being disliked like that (59 ratings of 1). It seems to be one of the most talked about harems out there (among others are Love Hina and Ai Kora), which again is why I'm surprised by the rating. But that's not for me to judge. I just thought that it would have received at least an 8.

Anyways, in regards to some of the comments, yes, it's true that it's repetitive. But then again, I haven't read a harem that isn't repetitive in some way. So, if something like that will affect how much you enjoy a manga, then harems probably aren't for you.

I find the characters to be enjoyable, and of course, Manaka needs to grow some balls (of course it's too late now). However, his character is also what adds to the story. If he wasn't the way he was, then the story wouldn't have been as interesting. There would have been no complications throughout the story because he would have made his decision pretty much right from the get go.

As for his decision (which is what seems to be the most talked about topic of this manga), it's strange for me because I preferred that person for most of the manga, but at the same time, I felt horrible watching the other girl left behind. I was sure she was gonna get picked, so when she didn't I was shocked and then became depressed as they said their "final" goodbye (it was such an emotional scene, and tragic if you really pay attention to what is said). But it was a good ending. It may have made me feel depressed, but it was still well done and I'm not going to dock points because it didn't make me feel all giddy inside like I expected it to. Overall, an enjoyable read if shounen romance/harem is your thing. Would definitely recommend it.

This manga was great.

The ending wasn't my preferred ending, but you don't say 'it's not as good because it didn't end how I want it to.' Kawashita Mizuki gave us an amazing experience. Ichigo 100% is a rare gem among manga, and Kawashita Mizuki is a rare gem among mangaka. This series deserves every sort of praise I could give to one of its genre. It's something that I really, truly love, in the purest way you could love something like...this. Although that sounds weird.
Come on, guys.
Don't withhold Mizuki's rightful ten just because you thought it should end differently.

Overall, I really liked this manga up to the final few chapters, but the ending of it left me feeling somewhat bleh. I didn't particularly dislike the choice Manaka made, but it just seemed somewhat forced. It was a fun, enjoyable read though.

This was a VERY good read but i cant give it a complete 10/10 cause i thought some things shoulda ended some other ways.

This is my belief of how it shoulda ended

1. Aya and Manaka get married (or at least start going out... and what about that perfect couple matching festival thing? didnt they both get the same number? I was sooo happy when i found that out but then the ending just drained all my hopes...)
2. Satsuki and Amachi start liking each other... i thought this would be a nice pair somehow (u can disagree with me lol i will completely understand)
3. Nishino somehow breaks up with Manaka and goes with Okusa, the pastry dude, or Aya's brother (u can also disagree and i will understand)
4. The octopus dude and Chinami have a octopus and devil looking child (it resembles both of them lol)
5. Sotomura (boy) hooks up with an ugly looking person, but has a nice body (heheh nobody woulda seen this coming)
6. Sotomura (girl) and her boyfriend (who is he anyways? cause i couldnt find the extra chapter ) get married and eventually have a baby
7. Kozoe Mukai and Migishima (for those of u who forgot, its that one scary looking guy from cram school with the X shaped scar on his forehead.) he was the only one who talked to her besides Manaka (even though she was scared like hell)
8. Yui got rejected so many times she cut herself so many times until she died (no offence but she was annoying )

THAT IS MY PERFECT ENDING!!!!!! and yes i know i cant always have it my way but i can wish cant i?

I HAVE BECOME THE PEOPLE I HATE!!! BUT I LOVE IT!!!

you not alot of guys like romance mangas (not me, i like some romance mangas) because of the overly lovey-dovey kissy crap (these ones i HATE and the people who watch them because they are very emontional), this one is kind of like the overly love manga, but i loved it the interseting twists in the plot the radical advances by Satsuki, Nishino, and the acidental ones by Aya. the minor characters that go after Manaka like Yui (yes to me she is a minor character, she only makes small and cameo apperances), Kozue, Kurokawa-sensei (the time the club went to his house), also the freaky advances by the realy old lady that runs the turtle inn. i hoped that he would go with Aya because he fell in love with her (the hot side) and she fell in love with him when he recognized her, but after the REALY REALY BIG moment with Nishino, we all know she had no chance. But those REALY BIG ACIDENTAL moments with Aya can never be forgoten and they got Manaka and Aya (somewhat) closer.
I finsihed Ichigo 100% today i love it, i have become the people i hate super emotional, sopa-operas and sopa-opera style like manga and movies people. BUT I LOVE IT!!!

This series is probably one of the best romance/high school/harem mangas in my opinion. After finish reading this series, my heart was just broken, I just couldnt get back into my real life for about a week. But despite me not really liking the end, I still very much enjoyed reading this series. I believe it still has potential to go on even after the ending.

Well as is said, it's long and the story could really be shorter. But just arriving at the end was worth it... the ending is very nice and you have really no clue which girl he picks untill vol. 17-18 :]
RECOMMENDED!
