There are some parts that start to get too wordy but just when it starts to get to the tiring part.. Some sultry, sexy, lustful parts start to jump right it. I loved it so much I almost wish I was her! Artistry very well defined.

This is a decent read, but if you ask me it gets a little slow in some parts. The beginning and end chapters are a little faster paced, but the middle becomes awfully repetitive... lots of uncertainties and beating around the bush. I kind of skimmed a couple of the chapters in order to push to the end.

The relationship itself seemed kind of... unrealistic. I mean, yes, it's already unrealistic given the male lead is a vampire... but some areas where I felt a more dramatic response was needed never built up to a high enough climax. I never found any edge-of-the-seat moments, the drama wasn't hyped up enough for me... the drama they did have going was repetitive and boring.

Despite all this, there are other qualities that salvage this manga. I personally, loved the art. Not only that, but the female protagonist is strong, and doesn't always sit back like a damsel in distress. She's hard-working and actually has a personality. =)

i wouldnt call this a bad manga, nor would i call it good. It makes me a little irritated on how the characters are. Well, characters arent always made to be liked so maybe its jus me.↲Its not a bad read. If u're a romantic, u may like ths cos of their somewhat forbidden love. But it'll annoy u on how slow their romance builds up.

Like the line stated, this manga seemed to have been a hit at the start, and then slowly went downhill, slow enough for me to ALMOST stop reading. Luckily I didnt stop since the manga went right uphill and stayed there till the end. A really fun read, at the beginning I thought this manga was overrated due to the smut, but that does not seem to be it (I dont particularly like smut so I know). The story is intriguing to read and the fact the both characters feel for each other yet could not enter a straightforward relationship, due to their pride as either vampire or secretary.

Again, a fun read. The art is good and nice to read, but not my kind of art style much. Anyway, 8 out of 10!

You are so wrong and that shows that you didnt really read the manga properly or you just simply do not understand the manga itself, which would be a no go. They did NOT use the excuse that he has vampire pride to excuse the fact that he is a heartless jerk. On the contrary, he IS a heartless jerk. That is one reason why we fans love him for the jerk he is. The vampire pride is just there to nudge at and a bonus, but regardless he IS a heartless, selfish jerk and we cannot stop to love him for it. I mean, it is simply irresistible to see a bad boy turn good. So get it through your head.

the main character is such a jerk, he spends most of his time sleeping with a bunch of women for "food" and for sex but every once in awhile after he is done sleeping with the other women he will desire the secretary blood so he will make out with her, and then treat her like crap. and yet this pathetic women still clings onto him no matter how much he pushes her away. he keeps hurting her and for two volumes she diligently sets up meetings for him to sleep with other women, this pathetic woman is so annoying and he is such a heartless jerk... even in volume 4 he kisses a woman infront of her and she just leaves like an obedient moron, women like he sicken me, she is worse than he is... they use the excuse that he has "vampire pride" to excuse the fact that he is a heartless jerk...

Initially, I was actually a little reluctant to read this, but now it's one of my favorites! Characterization and plot are both interesting and consistent (for the most part--character development does change the characterization, but not in an implausible way). It does seem that the plot has stagnated, just a little, at this point (chapter 26), but I see it picking up again. It's sort of a "calm before the storm" sort of plot lull.

At first the story grabs you, about a strong girl, and a vampire. Sadly the girl goes down hill, going from Strong and sticking to her convictions, to the guy's "Puppet". The other thing is that the Girl does too much thinking, What do I mean? she says something, than thinks again, then re-tells what she said, she should just say what she wants and stop. We got it the first time, too many times makes it boring...
The thing I liked was how she was strong, and the plot was cute. Lately it looks repetated, maybe the author is at a rut? Hope it gets better...

Oh, the style is the reason why I'd read that one even if the story weren't so deliciously mature and wicked. But, combined with the wickedness and the vampires and the interesting, strong characters and the twists and turns... There's no way I could stop reading MS!

First off: If you don't like smutty vampire stories, don't even touch that manga. Otherwise it's really great... it also shows perfectly what love can do to someone normally down to earth >.<

Well, some vampire cliches, great art, great plot, overally I'm not that strict in rating... so it gets a...

Well, it's true. They're awesome. And this manga totally shows off just how fantastic my dear vampies are. While I wasn't thrilled with chapter 10, it's still one of my favourite series of all time. Plus the main character isn't actually a complete twit - what a nice change!
