One day, Oga is by a riverbed when he encounters a man floating down the river. After being retrieved by Oga, the man splits down the middle to reveal a baby, which crawls onto Oga's back and immediately forms an attachment to him. This is an average series. Not really much to say about it. It's just so damn stupid... I like this kind of stupid though so that's alright. I can see it getting better as we go.

Shounen gag manga is not even close to being my thing, but I like demons, delinquents with hearts of gold, and series that win awards so I thought I'd give it a shot. And you know what? This series is *hilarious*. Not in any special way, and the art isn't that hot, but there's just something about the toughest guy at school playing nanny to Satan's baby that makes for one great...gag. I'm going to stick with this one, it can only get better.

Okay, one thing I've noticed in manga is that the Japanese have a very different idea of comedy than Americans, so when reading this manga that is something to stay aware of. It's a gag manga, it's not quite Bobobo-ish, but it really reminds me of Gintama. Another thing is for some of the chapters, the scanlators were a little... incompetent.
Overall, this is something you would read when it's late night or your hammered because your trying to get over being dumped and anything would seem funny. So, it's quality really depends on the person.

People in the library think I'm crazy because I laughing at my computer so much. This is really a must read

I really like beelzebub! It sort of reminds me of Chibi Devil! because both of the main characters suddenly have to raise a devil child. Anyways, I look forward to reading more of Beelzebub.
Great!

Got a chance to read this, and looks great so far, from the characters to the storyline itself.
On one hand, I hope this series performs well as it progress, but on the other hand, it could also be a handful of many past series from WSJ that gets axed without even getting a fair chance to expand on the plot.
Still, Beelzebub looks like a fun manga to read.
