this manga is totally very nice..
but the series taranta ranta was quite disappointing..they didn't say the ending properly..
but the drawings are really good..
hope that maki youko would continue to have this kind of work.

i agree with the reviewed that the relationship with kokoro and Kippei wasnt developed too well, i would have liked it if she appeared more in the manga. i feel like Kippei was too concerned with being the nice guy and helping out all these girls, rather than being there for kokoro. what kind of guy who has a girlfriend goes to some girls house by himself to help this girl with her sick sister? kokoro should have been developed more.

it so wonderful ...
I don't even know what to say.

this is one of the manga that moved me the most it so great that i cry because there was a ending so soon i wish it could have last a little longer
before reading this manga I watch the anime it is good to but the atmosphere and the art is way better in the manga i remember went i watch the anime i did cry but not like with the manga.

in this manga there is nothing to rate because it was awesome I can't give it a 10 because the perfection is impossible to archive but less is a disgrace to a story that will make cry even the a insensitive man.

If i could reborn I wish i could be kippei katakura or be like him at less
( you can tell me I'm crazy i don't care )

A shoujo with substance.

I see that a lot of people lament the limited Kokoro and Kippei moments (and as a shoujo and romance fan, I completely agree) and the relatively quick ending. However, this was an aspect that strongly bound me to the story. It's not sap. It's not how things are in shoujo manga. Instead, there are elements of real life that make this story attractive, endearing, and believable.
I couldn't give it a perfect rating because I felt that Yuzuyu's language (the children's language in general?) seemed too adult. I don't know if this is because of the translations (not making blame) or not, but 5 year olds don't really talk that way. They can perceive as much as Yuzuyu and the rest did, sure (it's hard to believe but it's true, as I'm constantly reminded when watching younger kids), but the way they communicate seemed too adult.
A little more praise for the more down-to-earth parts of the manga. ^_^ I especially loved when things/issues that occur in real life just pop up, seemingly randomly, and followed by such a non-exaggerated, uncomplicated scenes. It really reflects how some things are unexpected, may be a big deal to some, and not to others, or may be a big deal, but you don't MAKE it a big deal. A perfect example, is when you find out about Kippei's onee-san's secret.
I mostly lament that her other works aren't as down-to-earth as this one, or have such effective flow.

It was one of the more moving manga's I have read. In the end it moved a bit faster then I had expected, and yeah they could have made this so much longer and I still probably would have read it to the end. None the less it was really emotional and heart warming.

I want to know more about Kororo and Kippei's relationship.
Unlike Naruto or Bleach, this manga could of been waaaaayyyy longer.
I'll be sure to check out the author's other work.

Kippei looks similar to Tamaki from Ouran Koko Hosuto Kurabu. :0 (IN the manga I meant, the anime Kippei looks nothing like Tamaki.)

A really beautiful and adorable story. The characters were very realistic and Yuzuyu was just really cute. The story was really touching. I just loved the development of relationships throughout the entire thing. Only issues I had with it was the abrupt ending, and Kokoro. The mangaka could have stretched it out with a little more detail, and Kokoro wasn't very dynamic as a character. It didn't really explain in much detail why she always seemed so depressed. I mean, the reason was given, but nothing really came of it, and the story focused (obviously) more on Kippei and Yuzuyu's relationship rather than Kippei and Kokoro's. Kokoro was drawn really nicely though. Soooo cute. <_< The ending was still great though. Nice warm fuzzy feelings on the last page.
