Description
Akira Shiraishi, a young high-school boy with feminine features, joins Blaue Rosen, the all-girl band that Mizuki Sakurazaka, an androgynous girl of the same age, performs lead electric guitar in.

Their high-school life is anything but typical: Mizuki is the "prince" of her all-girl school while Akira is the "princess" of the neighboring all-boy school. A series of comical events brings them closer together, even as the prejudice of the people around them tries to hold them back.

It's a pretty good manga. The art is lovely though the story gets pretty weird because you have to keep telling yourself that a certain character is a girl or vice versa. I had to stop reading it for a while because the story felt a little awkward to me even though it's a het couple.

It is pretty good though, so I would recommend it. Though be prepared to feel confused a lot.

This manga is pretty confusing at first.. but you get the hang of it after the first two chapters. ^^ I wish I could have seen more of Shun though. Haha. The relationship between Akira and Mizuki is too cute. & somehow, I find it pretty hilarious. ^^ Most of the time I have to keep reminding myself which of them are girls and which are guys. However, it's definitely entertaining to read this manga. ^^ Shinjo Mayu!

I love this manga and I'll tell you why. Not every guy is going to be tall dark and handsome and not every girl is going to be your small, dainty, feminine beauty, and It's seldom that you see a manga that strays from convention but with this fact in mind, Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero is brought to us. You have Mizuki who looks more like a Bishounen than your typical girl and Akira a rather enfemminate guy who's hell bent on claiming every inch of Mizuki for himself. I love it! You would think with such a masculine looking girl and uke looking boy that there would be no chemistry, but this manga is smoldering. With every kiss, and near miss if you know what I mean, the reader is drawn deeper and deeper into the erotic chase as Akira draws closer and closer to claiming the only thing he wants, Mitzuki. The art work is beautiful and the story line interesting enough to keep you glued to your seat for hours. I would recomend reading this to anyone who wants a little something different in their romantic read.

Because of the beautifully drawn ambiguously gendered pair, and refreshing take on romance, I gave Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero a 10. trust me, it's just that good!

This manga is just TOO pretty and cute >.<

The genders are kind of confusing to get at first, but Shinjo Mayu's works are really beautiful.

I strongly recommend this manga=]
