When I first saw this series I was expecting a generic harem series like Ichigo 100% but instead the story switches from character to character and back again through out the series making it feel fresh.
Another one on my list

Always loved Kawashita Mizuki's works, love the style and characters.
Good start already, looking forward to future chapters.

i just give it a 3 for the art, the story format is terrible and it's better off a harem series, it might have lasted longer and for those who compare this to School Rumble, it's pale in comparison due to the fact that there's hardly comedy and it doesnt focus much on one main guy but i do agree that some of the setup does have similarity

i like the contrast between each character (the eight girls, maybe): mature, brother complex, athletic, brutal, materialistic, weird...

I think most people are forgetting that this was intentionally a short manga to brush up on Kawashita's manga skills so she can prepare for her next project~
It wasn't so bad for 32 chapters, there was development in characters and relationship. The characters are unique and it still has the funny element in Kawashita's works.
Plus this was a new style of storytelling that she probably wanted to try out (different povs: like pulp fiction), hence the large amount of characters. So kudos to trying out something new!

Alright, let me get this out of the way, it's the worst manga I've read so far. I am a fan of Shounen romantic comedies, but this was too short, and too impersonal with the characters to really get any enjoyment out of reading it. Some of the pairings do annoy me, but that's not really what took away from the story.
This is a different kind of romantic comedy in that it's fairly obvious that most of the pairings have little chance of lasting long into the future (seeing as all of the characters are either in the third year of middle school or the first year in high school). It is a story about multiple characters' first love. In that sense, it is probably a realistic story, but realism doesn't equal enjoyment. Because so many characters were introduced in this short series, it is nearly impossible to give enough screen time for each of them. In fact, I remember one character was introduced in one chapter, but never again mentioned for the rest of the story.
Because this is a story about first loves, it is not expected to really develop any of the relationship. However, that is where I found the flaw. Because there was no development in the relationships, there was also no development in the characters. So, if you're looking for a mindless story where very little character development takes place, than give this story a shot. If you're looking for a story about love developing between two characters (or multiple if you're reading a harem) and the trials of getting the love to work, than this is not the story for you. The mangaka's other works are much better (Ichigo 100% and Limlim Kiss). Other Shounen romantic comedies/harems I recommend are Love Hina, I''s, Ichigo 100% , and Suzuka.

I was mildly interested after the first chapter, but the subsequent chapters were all disappointing. After Ayumi's story, which ended fairly ironically, the manga jumps from one uninspired perverted or half-witted male character after another, with the occasional shallow female character thrown in - for example, the chapter starring the girl with a brother complex
kinda boring
