Firstly, its yandere (& psycho) concept is executed quite well. The ml our dude is smiley, tender, offers act of service and at the same time creepy, mysterious and dangerous with that grinning and staring of his. He is a yandere indeed. The character i also rl like is Sawako. The twist in her character is pretty surprising and fun. Other than that, the plot is not that hard to predict 🙂. The pacing is okay. Everything would be okay except for that plot hole that has been irked me from the start: WHO WOULD LET A RANDOM DUDE THAT YOU DON'T EVEN RMB LIVE IN YOUR HOUSE? Even if you rmb him, it's still risky and unsafe. But i get that it's maybe for the sake of moving the plot, so i won't complain too much.
Also, i thought the red flag would be sm redder and more toxic, eh? But... He hasn't done anything that that morally disturbing, to our fml Yoh and her friend so far, considering he is a yandere 🙂 so... that's pretty nice to see cuz i won't have to have my brain hurt analyzing things morally.
And, secondly, the chemistry between our leads: hmmm the chemistry is still progressing and i haven't felt anything that remarkable or could give me butterflies. We are slowly shown the trauma from their childhood, and that part where they have been for each other from the start is quite nice to see - like we can understand more about Haruma's attachment to Yoh and their deeper connection; but still, i don't find it that touching. I hope Haruma and Yoh can heal from their past soon.
Over, this manga is pretty fun to read. I'd say it's a 8/10.
