Description

Honma Shouta was born from the Sado region. Due to his parents' death, he dropped out of his university to take care of his younger brother. Amidst the new, tough lifestyle, he met the famous architect, Sakagami Tetsuaki. In order to raise money to live, he accepted a sex proposal of "50 thousand yen a pop". Trash, and Not the Good Kind

I was ecstatic to see positive representation of gay parenting, but the way this is set by, and the relationship within which just fucked up. The smut is good as long as they don’t get to the sex scenes, then it gets a bit weird. I really have no idea why I bothered reading this trash when there’s so much good to be read out there. The art isn’t that bad tho, and I do like the dazed faces that Shota makes. But, then again the sex scenes are smutty. There are some good parts, and I really do love how Sakagami is extremely willing to take Fuuta into his life not out of a sense of obligation but because he love both Fuuta and Shota. That’s the only reason I giving this “It’s your fault” and rapist manga a five. But, these lines are what are associated with a sadistic person, so yeah. I guess in the mangaka’s mind it never was rape😕?? But No, like Shota uses the word “assault” and clearly says no.

The plot might be a little plain and predictable, but the characters make a warm family’s atmosphere which is just great to let your hair down while reading. However, I think it would be better if their relationship was better developed, ‘cause I feel like it was just financial dependence and sympathy rather than love at first.

I tried to be lenient but this manga still managed to tick me off so much I should honestly be rewarded for finishing it. I've seen all types of bad art styles over the years but I'm particularly non-forgiving towards exaggerated and off-putting facial expressions, and boy does this have a lot of that and it just annoyed me so much. Usually babies are the saving grace when it comes to subpar artists but it's the other way around here because you can tell the mangaka tried to make the kid as 'cute' as possible with all the sparkles and insanely huge eyes and it backfired big time. I normally never rant about art this much but it really bothered me a lot this time I just had to let it out or I'll burst. And don't even get me started on the typical BL storyline that's both cheesy and try-hard at the same time. Gosh I want my time back.
