Strange and Beautiful

i read this ages ago and just remembered that this is textbook oi and since i’m already on an oi kick i was like “why not pick it up again”
i’ll tell you why, it’s because the translation hasn’t been updated in over a year and it’s still only about halfway through. i found all the raws it’s just so depressing i can’t read korean. legit thinking abt taking up classes so i can read the ending LOL
anyway so i reread the whole thing again and it’s so pretty. art is odd but gets better. plot is gripping and not like oi i’ve read recently. i’ve seen her other works which means the ending is T.T
the trauma dump is unnecessary, the characters i felt weren’t fleshed out enough. i liked fl though i just wished the romantic development was smoother since it was more focused on world building and thriller fantasy plot vibes.
huge cast of characters, sometimes i felt like it dragged the way flow did. i’m kind of in a catatonic state rn though so pls take my review w a grain of salt bc it’s shrouded in nostalgia for me. still littered w problems but i loved it.

overall: 7/10 😭😩 until i can get the rest of the translations!
