I wish all the chapters were translated and the manga was serialized. What a shame it ended.

I think the issue is that there are too many characters. They're all drawn similarly, so it's hard to differentiate between all of them. There must be 10+ characters that we follow?I skimmed up to 160ish and it was too confusing! Don't waste your time unless you got time to waste.

The art is honestly gorgeous and it's a very slice-of-life manhua featuring a good deal of fluff and bittersweet moments. There's no intense drama or focus on warfare and the romance is there with the different relationships but it's not the primary focus of the manhua.

It's a very feel good manhua and the scanslators add in a lot of explanations and reminders about sayings/poems/characters to make things easier to understand.

Really, the story didn't grip me whatsoever. The art was nice, but nothing is funny or like captivating which is weird because they're in the middle of battles and shit.

It's more like a lukewarm "feel good" manga? If you want something light that you'll forget right away, this is for you.

I don't know what game this is from but I started reading at chapter 43 and everything more or less made sense. I think this author took the background and some characters of the game and just made his own story. The art is beautiful, it's very paint-brushstroke like. The characters are adorable and even among the backdrop of war there are lighthearted and sad moments.

the plot seems to be 'life in a battle camp' with a couple main characters.
