Description

Idk why exactly, but I really loved that oneshot. There was just something about the poignancy of the ending and the confusion of the emotions between the two that really struck me. I definitely recommend reading it
The main story is only 2 chapters and one short extra but it really impressed me. The two heroes seem to share an interesting and angsty love hate relationship that started when they were still in school. It's never really fully explained what happened back then, but instead of being frustrating, this omission actually adds to the mystery and melancholy mood of the story (the short extra is set in the past but doesn't reveal a lot). I really hope the mangaka will continue this story someday.
Unfortunately, the translation for this isn't great and sometimes it's hard to figure out what is being said ("I cashed in on my credits in other people's emotional bank accounts"). It's a real shame because with short stories such as this, each and every word counts.
