In a grand annual production secretly funded by the mafia, washed-up actor Lu Huaming is unexpectedly cast as the second male lead, alongside the wildly popular actor, Lu Zuo. However, filming delays test everyone's patience, especially that of Long Xiaoyue—the project’s supervisor and mafia boss's son.
